We spent one night in this B&B. Very clean and well maintained. We were the only Americans that evening and everyone was pleasant. The Il Mattino is located in a quiet neighborhood to the east of main Pisa. It was a 20 minute walk to the Duomo. Breakfast the next morning was standard fare for an Italian B&B, and by that I mean it was very good. The manager suggested we park our rental car about a block away to prevent any possible damage due to the narrow street. A very nice B&B and I would stay there again.

Great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood. Bed and breakfast are both very good. Rooms are just like the photo's provided by the owner. City center, restaurants and central station are in walking distance.

Il Mattino is clean, with adequate rooms and air conditioning. It has the bonus of parking and is perfectly good if getting in late from a flight or leaving early for one. The breakfast is a basic continental one, but everything is simple and easy.

Perfect location, nice and quiet and easy walking distance into Pisa. Very welcoming entrance and everywhere spotlessly clean. Room was spacious overlooking the courtyard - Magnolia was name of our room. John very helpful, advising restaurant on our first night there. Tea and coffee facilities in room and fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water.Plenty of choice for breakfast. The Bed and Breakfast has a very relaxed feel and great for chilling out. Patrons have use of the courtyard if they wish to sit outside. We had an early flight home and appreciated John booking our taxi for a 4.30am pick up. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again if we visited Pisa again.

This establishment offers the perfect Bed & Breakfast experience. Over looking the court yard garden, this large bedroom offered a self contained bathroom and split system reverse cycle air-conditioning. The room had a comfortable bed and ample cupboard space with a safe. The rooms were very clean and the towel's etc were in good condition. The breakfast was excellent, and offered a large selection. Coffee was available and made fresh to your request and preference. Located about 20 mins walk from the centre of town in a safe and quite area. Located within a 5 minute walk is a large supermarket chain. Finally, a thankyou to the owner who assisted with several requests outside the normal expectations, you have an excellent business in Pisa.

Pros: This B&B is clean. Nice hall on first floor leading to our room, the Lavender. The shower and bathroom is good. The room was spacious and clean. Free Wi-Fi, always a bonus and air conditioning. Cons: The décor (curtains and bedspread) were dated. It is about 30 mins walk into the centre of things in Pisa and the walk back about 10.30, I did not like, it was dark and the area is not the best, Breakfast the next morning, there was a good choice, not hugely appealing, I had a croissant, it was hard to figure out where you got coffee, it would have been nice if the couple sitting each side of the desk who we passed coming down and said good morning to us, actually told us where to get coffee. It turns out I had to come out to reception and ask. The man there got up to go and make some. This B&B was ok. It is like they are trying but just stop short of missing the details that are important. Whilst they were polite and friendly, the staff/owner did not go out of their way to engage too much with you.

Found this place very clean and friendly. Roberto picked us up from the bus stop so no trying to find the place, he also took us to a perfect little restaurant so we would know how to get there and back and on the morning of our departure took us to the station. Roberta on reception gave us a 24 hour number if we needed help at any time. Breakfast on the outside covered terrace was typical Italian continental. I have to eat gluten free and there was lots of foods especially for me. Loved it and felt well looked after, thanks all you are a great team. I would definitely recommend and return.

We spent in B&B only one night with my husband and arrived late night but Monica was really helpful and friendly. The hospitalty and service was very good, and the breakfast is also tasty, different type of foods with handmade cakes. I'm sure that we will come back next time.
