I would like to add information for all the customers that book to our hotel,because cause the limit traffic zone there are a lot of mistake and trouble, so I would like to add in the form confirmation or straight away in the hotel's information, the right route for to reach us. Below there are description in english and Italian.1) YOU CAN REACH THE HOTEL BY CAR You are allowed to get inside the walls from Santa Maria gate ONLY. As soon as you pass through the gate turn right taking Via della cavallerizza St. keep going straight on and you'll get into San Frediano Piazza where the church is, you mustgo all around this church untill you'll find Via cesare Battisti St. on your letf side. Get into via Cesare Battisti St. take the secondstreet on your left side wich is Via degli angeli St. Our staff will help you out with your luggage. HOTEL STAFF WILL TAKE THE PLATENUMBER OF YOUR CAR, that has to be send it to the police department and then they will show you where to park. YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR CAR KEYSAT THE FRONT DESK DURING ALL YOUR STAY.

My favorite hotel in Europe! If I had the budget, I would move to Lucca and live in this hotel full-time. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the food at breakfast is amazing and the restaurant is excellent. Everything about it is fantastic :)

My husband and I planned to stay in Lucca for 3 nights. Unfortunately he injured his back and was unable to leave the day we needed. Luckily they had our room available for one extra night which was much needed. The front desk even helped us call a local doctors that came by our room 2 times to give my husband an injection each day. If you can believe it he only charged us $100 Euros for 2 visits. Such a nice doctor and I really am thankful to the hotel staff for understanding what we needed for my husbands back. That being said we had 4 nights to experience Lucca and this hotel. The location is great, right off the main shopping street and restaurants galore! We had a great time exploring Lucca, shopping, and eating. We fell in love with Lucca. Our room was large with a large bathroom. My only complaints are the soft mattress and the noise level. You can hear everything outside of your room from the road noise, not cars, just people and garbage pick up etc. Also there is no insulation so you hear everything in the other rooms and hallway. The breakfast is nice, the cappuccino delicious!! The staff is very very friendly. I would recommend this hotel. It’s not luxury, quite outdated, needs a few updates but in a small town like Lucca this was what we expected. For the amount of time you spend in your room this doesn’t matter so much.…

From the lovely warm welcome from Paolo and team, we had a delightful stay. Rooms are cool and ravishingly painted, everything clean and bursting with Italian style... and a most magnificent breakfast. The coffee pretty much the best I have had in Italy! And all Lucca on the doorstep. Whole-heartedly recommended.

As part of a Group of 16 touring Tuscany and Umbria, this was our first hotel of a two week trip, and we loved the location, being right downtown and easy to get to all the shops and restaurants. We had a suite, with a huge Jacuzzi and nice big shower with glass doors. The bedroom had gorgeous frescoed walls, and we had another small room with a desk and mini bar. Breakfast was very good, and service was good.

Very nice, small hotel within the city wall. Room was spacious. Breakfast outstanding. On-site parking 15E per night. They provide excellent directions into and out of the city, which is important inside the city wall. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable gem of a hotel inside the city just off the main pedestrian street of shoppes. We had a king and twin bed which were easy to sleep on. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower. The room had its own controls fir heat and air conditioning. The windows could be opened. One minor issue was with the Wi-Fi. It slowed during busy times of the day to the point where it became frustrating to use. But you are in beautiful Lucca in Toscana! Why are you on the Internet? We thoroughly enjoyed it and would return.

The staff are incredibly professional and helpful and made us feel at home. For 15 Euros you can park a half block away. This hotel is a wonderful find in a quiet location. It felt like home, if only our walls were so beautifully frescoed as this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights and only wished for more. Breakfasts were generous and delicious and the location is only 2 - 3 minutes off the main palazzo. What's not to love?! This hotel goes to our "must go back" list. Grazie millie to the staff.

Just back from three nights in a superior room. We had seen the hotel online, liked the look of it so booked it, then saw a few negative reviews about it on Trip Advisor so we were slightly apprehensive. We shouldn't have worried. Everything about it was just spot on. The room was lovely and the staff were charming. Very happy to have stayed here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Amazing experience. I arrived in Lucca and due to unfortunate experience in the pre-booked place had to urgently find an alternative. By chance I managed to get the last spare room in this Hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, location is excellent, the room comfortable, private large bathroom. Perfect breakfast
