You won’t do better for location in Lucca. People are wonderful and helpful. The fact that parking is available is remarkable but be sure to reserve. Breakfast is normal, just OK. Wifi works well. All in all, good value and a recommended place to stay.

Staff couldn't do enough including going home to get different bandages when my sister was bitten in town. Rooms clean and spacious only downside was no air conditioning switched on although it was October but was still very warm for us Scots. Reception staff room staff night staff every single one were welcoming friendly and caring would definitely recommend this gem of a place to everyone

Perfect location for visiting Lucca. Size of room was very comfortable. We like the sitting area at the entrance to the room. Breakfast was great. Reception and cleaning personnel very friendly, helpful and competent. Unlike many hotels, the tissu boxes always had plenty of tissus. AC was discreet and could be turned off during cooler nights. Towels were the nice absorbent terry-cloth ones, not the thick soft ones that just push the water around your body. Nice to have two separate washrooms, one with shower, the other with WC. Faucets on the wash basins were small and not very practical. As an early riser I like a coffee first thing in the morning. The 7:30 start for breakfast was a bit late. Would have been nice to have kettle & coffee maker (or at least instant coffee) in room. The ultimate authentic addition would be an original Bialetti Italian coffee maker from the Bialetti shop two doors up the street.…

This is a great place to stay in Lucca. In the middle of everything you need to see, as well as stores and restaurants. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean with modern bathroom fixtures. This is a small hotel with rooms on the smaller side, but it is very well-kept and affordable. I will stay here again and recommend it highly.

Lovely hotel with an exceedingly comfortable big bed. The staff were lovely, the hotel is so central to everything. The breakfast was gorgeous.. So much choice. Hotel room was cleaned every day. Couldn't have picked a better hotel and lucca was beautiful. We stayed 7nights. Would definitely recommend. 😊

Location: excellent Staff: competent Breakfast: choices from many cultures available Bed: very uncomfortable, not just firm it felt like a futon pad on the floor with insufficient padding. Noise: outside well blocked, inside disturbingly bad. I understand old buildings' quirks, and sought the charm of a locally owned lodging. I accept hearing toilet flushing as part of the package, but hearing my neighbors pee, or even sigh, is more than I bargained for. Instructions: no clue for working the temp control, no prices provided for items in the room fridge. Don't miss beautiful Lucca, but I slept poorly and wouldn't go back to the Hotel La Luna. NOTE - I was in the annex, the main building may be different.

Excellent location insude the city walls of Lucca, most everything was a 10 minute walk or less. Close to shopping, restaurants, the pharmacy and pretty much everything you want to see in Lucca. Very friendly staff, and delicious breakfast and cappucino every morning. Two small things - there are no elevators (this historical hotel ubuilding used to be a palace) so you have to haul your luggage upstairs, and the a/c was marginal. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely lovely little hotel in the centre of this beautiful Tuscan city. Friendly and family run, we couldn’t fault it for location or cleanliness. We had five lovely days here, enjoying everything that Lucca can offer. We had a fabulous time.,

I booked this hotel as a gift for my boyfriend and it was absolutely great. Super clean and quite. The room was very comfortable and cozy with a big bathroom. The location was perfect everything is walking distance. The staff is very helpful and kind. Extremely professional and also managed to take care of our car in their paid garage. Absolutely recommended!!!

Right next to the old amphitheatre, so very central. Quite tricky navigating a motorbike there, but once you do, there is secure parking if you request in time. Clean and comfortable with great staff.
