We have been visiting Lucca for many years and sadly our old accommodation fell victim to Covid, so we were utterly delighted to find Palazzo Dipinto and it will become our new Lucca "home". It is a real gem. Ideally located in the heart of the city, but set back from the noise of the main streets. It is a beautiful building, excellently appointed with friendly and super helpful staff. Our bedroom was spotless, large and well designed. Breadfast presented a very good selection of choices to suit all tastes. Our thanks to all the staff who made out stay a really special one.
Beautiful hotel, clean and modern. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room is immaculate, spacious with a beautiful en-suite and powerful shower. It’s so easy to walk to all the points of interest with good restaurants nearby. Reception gave us a map and good recommendations of places to eat Would stay here again
Wonderful hotel, location was just a few blocks from bustling square with great shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful and rooms and common areas spotless. Loved the modern vibe housed in an historic stone piazzo. Highly recommend!
Our stay at the Palazzo Dipinto was really excellent; it's a great hotel. The location is perfect, right inside the walls of Lucca, so you just walk out of the hotel and start enjoying this lovely city. Our room was very roomy and comfortable ( we had the deluxe room with the loft) and very well equipped with wonderful little things like nice robes. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. Based on some earlier reviews, I was concerned that we might not get the specific room we were promised (with the loft) for but we did get it and it was perfect. The breakfasts were superb. Parking was very convenient. My only suggestion for the hotel would be that the loft could use some pillows and a blanket or comforter. One tip: if travelling by car, no matter what your navigation app tells you, enter the walled city through Porta Sant'Anna, which is the closest to the hotel.…
We loved everything about this hotel. The location is excellent in a quiet, charming piazza. It’s in a. Rustic uo 13th century building that’s been modernised. Detailing in every aspect of the hotel is excellent. Service is attentive and responsive. Breakfast is the best we’ve had so far. Will readily recommend to others and would definitely stay again.
Outstanding service from start to finish - the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. We’d booked breakfast for 3 mornings though ended up leaving early on two of the days and we were still able to have some pastries. Highly recommended.
The location of this hotel, within city walls, was the best. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing I would comment on is the shower floor, which was extremely slippery.
Beautiful area and super clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Wanted to stay inside the walls of Lucca. Perfect place to stay. Quiet on a side street. You can eat breakfast outside or inside. Service was outstanding and rooms are modern and extremely clean with mini bar. We were provided two waters and treated very professionally at the front desk. Our shutters opened up to the the city view and rooftops of Lucca. We would stay there again.
Very clean and nice hotel with a good breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel. To the reception, bar and breakfast staff I want to mention; talk to the guests, smile and make them feel more comfortable, at home. The hotel quality is perfect however my impression is not complete. The hotel is hard to reach by car. Google maps points to the wrong directions. Give the booker the information with roads before arrival to make things easier.
This is really an excellent hotel with a modern and minimalist look inside. The location. Is great inside the city walls. You do need to book and pay for parking. The breakfasts were very nice. BUT be careful that the room you booked and paid for is the room that you get. We booked a junior suite. On the website, it clearly shows and describes a two roomed suite with two TV’s. We were put in one room with one TV. When I went to complain they insisted we were in a junior suite. When I showed the pictures, they offered us a discount of €60 for our stay. They did offer to move us the next day but the inconvenience of moving and packing up and waiting again for a room was too much trouble. Our room was only ready for check in an hour later than the stated time. So, my advice would be to confirm with the hotel that you are getting what you paid for. I would have given the hotel five stars if they hadn’t given us the incorrect room.…
