We truly enjoyed our stay at the San Giuliano Inn Florence, Italy. In our boutique hotel room we spent late evenings enjoying wines, charcuterie, desserts and great conversation because it was an elegant and very comfortable room. Complimentary continental breakfasts, great espresso and a complimentary refrigerator with all the beverages you could imagine.

This is not.a full service hotel. It seems to be partnered (owned by) a full service hotel nearby. It is the top floor of a building that has other residences/hotels within. There is a small elevator. A nice older building. Windows had wooden shutters. Our room wasn't huge, but that's not a "thing" for me. All was spotlessly clean and also sophisticated. I booked early and got a room with view of the Duomo. Very good communication with staff. you must tell them your arrival time so someone can meet you at the residence. It is a quick taxi from the train station (maybe 12 Euro). All staff including desk and housekeeping were super professional. We were given a ring with 4 keys - one for street level door, one for internal door to the hallway of rooms, one to our own room, and one to the safe. Glad I didn't lose them - haha. They provided us some contact info in case of emergency. There are a few fast food places just on the block but also some very good "off the tourist" area restaurants as well. It was a great 2 nights stay. They arranged for our taxi to the train station. Only thing that was a little disappointing (and I can see this would vary by who is staying the particular days you are there), that there is a communal kitchenette with drinks and such. Seemed like a couple of rooms had wine cocktail hour both days before we could get a glass.

Strongly recommend this apartment for stays in Florence. Met on arrival and made to feel incredibly welcome (there is not a 24/7 reception). Room was faultless and quite modern. Bonus communal kitchen with coffee, beer, wine, water and breakfast snacks. Staff were only too helpful and with the lift broken walked the baggage down 4 flights of narrow stairs. Great location and rate the Inn highly.

The inn is six very nice rooms on the fourth floor of a local Florence building just east of the Duomo. The staff is top notch. They helped us with a very fast check in, a taxi to the airport and they coordinated some laundry for us. Not to mention the morning pastries, the fridge stocked with water, juice, soda, wine and beer. The location is great and we loved the neighborhood and Florence. We would definitely stay at the San Guiliano Inn again.

What a stay! My partner and I stayed for one night at this amazing location. From the outside it looks like a regular building like everywhere else in Florence. But the inside is incredibly beautiful. We felt welcomed all the way. Beautiful rooms and lovely host. Book here you'll not regret it!

Absolute 10 out of 10. We loved our stay here. The owner and her helper are so accommodating. Nothing is a problem. We needed to get some washing done and they organised it for us (same day even!), and also provided an iron for us to finish off the process. The location is very central, the apartment is very very clean! They even provide coffee/tea facilities and a lovely sitting area if you want to relax for a while. Would highly recommend staying here. Walking distance from the train station. Loved our time here.

Service: The staff was very welcoming and was flexible given the issues and delays we ran into coming to Florence from Rome. Everyday, they would propose to us coffees and cappuccinos, would answer all of our questions and resolve any issues we had. There was always bottles of water, beers, juice and yogurts in the fridge, snacks and croissant in the morning, Nespresso coffee machine and a selection of great teas available. I couldn’t ask more in terms of service! Facilities: The room was spacious, very clean and and modern with a strong adjustable AC. Huge bathroom with a large ceramic shower and glass door (never seen this large of a shower in a hotel). I’m usually very picky when it comes to bathrooms, but this one was perfect! Location: In the heart of Florence, we always reached any locations in less than 10-15 min. Michelangelo’s David is literally 2 minutes away. It was great as we could change clothes when we felt like we needed to and it avoided us walking around too much late at night. Also, if you go out to drink late at night, there is a McDonald’s on the corner (don’t eat McDonald’s in Italy…). Honestly, great hotel with great staff. We were hesitant given the low amount of ratings, but took a chance it was an amazing decision! Thanks for everything!

We absolutely loved our stay - from the stunning view of the duomo from our window and the lovely cosy feel of the room, to the little communal kitchen stocked with drinks, snacks and fresh croissants each morning (all included) it was just perfect. The room was beautifully decorated with a modern bathroom and the whole place was very clean and tidy throughout. Staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Location was great, we could walk everywhere we wanted to visit and there were some lovely local restaurants nearby.

This guest house is on the top floor of a townhouse with quirky lift access. We arrived early hoping to leave our cases, however our room was ready so were allowed to check in. Wow! What a room! To say it is clean is an understatement.new had a large room with a huge double bed, large modern bathroom with a walk in shower. The decor is fresh and very classical. We had a partial view of the duomo from our window. The staff are so polite and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. There is a communal kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle and a large well stocked fridge with water, fruit juice, beers and wine; all complimentary. A simple but plentiful breakfast is laid out here in the morning; croissants, toast and yoghurts. There is also a stunning communal lounge with comfortable couches, we ate our breakfast in this room as it was so beautiful. If you are going to Florence this is an absolute must a few minutes walk to the main attractions and 10 minutes walk to the train station.

Nice little hotel. In an established apartment building in the center of town. You can walk anywhere. Love the staff, very accommodating but it’s only available during specific hours so check ahead. Community kitchen is stocked with beverages and the Nespresso machine makes great coffee. Elevator is small so you may need a couple of trips with a lot of luggage.
