My wife and I stayed at Hotel Spadai in Florence for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! We wish we could have stayed longer. The best location, steps away from The Duomo and many Piazza’s. The hotel was beautiful and very modern, the room was very clean and they fully stock the fridge every day. The breakfast was amazing! Best breakfast we have had in europe, lots of variety. The staff from reception, the restaurant, and room attendants were all very polite and more than accommodating. Noemi from management was very professional and super kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence. Short walk or quick cab ride to the main train station.

Hotel's Favourite
Everything exceeding expectations—incredible breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries made in-house, meats/cheeses, eggs/bacon, and a chocolate fountain to fondue whatever you dream up. The room was clean, quiet, and larger than any other place we stayed in Rome or Venice. They have a happy hour each day with free snacks that could be skipped if you eat dinner before 8 or is invaluable if you’re trying to eat after 9 with the Italians. The hotel has a modern flare with blue led lights in the shower and a cool spiral staircase that leads to a glass lookout on the roof. Location is ideal and in the middle of everything. Somehow, the room stayed quiet. We won’t even look for a different place when we’re back in Florence.

This is a SUPERB place to stay in Florence, for the location, amenities, staff and the intangibles. We were here for the better part of a week in Oct. 2023. The room was large, well-furnished, and comfortable. Walk outside and you are in the middle of things. Walk down the street and you are next to the Duomo. ... The bed was comfortable, too, and the facilities are great. Staff speaks superb English, and there are nice offerings at the bar. The view from the rooftop patio (be sure to visit by climbing the spiral staircase after breakfast), is breathtaking. Breakfast is wonderful, also, with an ENORMOUS array of food that frankly made me think we were being totally spoiled. A huge Grazie to Cristiano, the restaurant manager, is far more than a manager. (Thank you, and I hope the hotel knows what a treasure they have in you! : ) He made every morning wonderful with his charming conversation and recommendations (including restaurants in Rome!), as well as a delicious, surprise birthday treat for me. Can't recommend it enough.

What a terrific hotel! A stone's throw from the Cathedral, short walk to Uffizi Gallery, Accademia Gallery, tons of restaurants and shops, etc. Take a taxi/ train here, no cars permitted in this "zone". Second time I stayed here... that says a lot. It's our home when visiting Florence. The people are so nice!

This was my second stay at Hotel Spadai. I don’t think I will ever stay anywhere else in Florence. Both trips were with my daughter so we had a room with comfy twin beds. I love the breakfast buffet, the location and the bar. The service is amazing. All the staff are super helpful and nice.

Spectacular hotel very central and very good service. The rooms are a little small but very clean and the bathroom is very comfortable and beautiful. The most that caught my attention was breakfast was included and it had a lot of variety of food, everything was delicious. When I return to Florence I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Really nice hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and we’d definitely return. The rooms were cleaned each day and they provide a few complimentary minibar drinks that get refreshed daily. The breakfast was very good, and there is a happy hour downstairs with some small finger food. I only went once for the happy hour, but it’s great that they provide it. The hotel is close to the Duomo and many other attractions. Overall we loved it here and look forward to visiting Florence again!

Room was great and cozy with a beautiful view of a historical classical school. Literally down the street from the Duomo, beautiful as you make that entrance to the square. Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was inviting and delicious. We will definitely stay again!

Hicham is the absolute best at hotel spadai! He made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home not just at the hotel but also in Italy. My husband and I are so happy we met him and got to see true Italian hospitality. The other staff was great, but Hicham is just simply the absolute best. Would come back again just to stay under the careful hospitality of Hicham!
