This is our third visit to Florence and Hotel Casci. They maintain their very high standard of providing great value for money. Breakfasts were quite good and plentiful and the location between the Duomo and the Academia is hard I beat (and it is close to San Lorenzo, the Central Market and the Medici chapel as an added bonus). The hotel, on the second floor of an otherwise un-notable building, is reached by a small elevator. Once inside, you are treated to a quiet and clean environment. All the staff (the front desk, breakfast staff and maids) were delightful. We especially found. Anna to be very helpful. We hope to return to the Hotel Casci.

An old Italian hotel, but perfect for the amount of time we spent in the room. It was clean, had a good breakfast and friendly staff. The value was well worth it. The location was walking distance, safe area and close coffee bars and restaurants. Definitely would stay again if I didnt want a four-star hotel at four-star prices.

We booked a room for 13 days. When we arrived we had to pay cash for the taxes and the rest on a credit card. Not sure why we had to do that. Then I became very sick and we had to leave 8 days early and they would not refund any of the days we paid up front. We emailed them asking for a refund and received no response. The lady at the desk said it was because it was booked thru Booking.com but that isn't the case according to booking. They agreed a refund should have been given. Then we were in room 4. If you stay in room 4 do not open the windows. There is a smell that will make you so sick from that side of the building. It was awful. Now the housekeeper Jessica was awesome. As far as the beds they are hard and uncomfortable and the pillows are flat and they will not give you another one. We asked. The little breakfast is pretty good and ample for the morning. All in all it's a ok Hotel except for their refund policy in which there isn't one and I still have not heard back from them and that is a huge disappointment. It was alot of money.

Unlike any other hotel, this one was a first of it's kind hotel/lodge all on one floor. It's a maze of rooms spread out left and right, up and down and all on just one level, that in itself was something new and unique for us. It's bang in the centre of everything you want to do in Florence, Duomo - right there, supermarket - right there, restaurants - right there, PIZZA - right there, stores (high-end, local, everything - all right there...) , electronics - right there, just doesn't get anymore central than this place. Beautiful, old, quaint, lovely people to welcome you and take care of you at their little old lodge. Rooms are cozy and they're pretty ideal for families with kids. We stayed for 5 nights, my toddlers enjoyed their separate beds (though they never slept on them ever :p) but it's somehow etched in their memory that they had their own private space. Breakfast is cool, nice and simple - my girls still talk about their Nutella packs till date which they had for breakfast every single day AND they have their own coffee bar in the lobby (highly essential in Italy). Didn't have too many photos of the hotel but it's definitely a good base for a trip around Florence (some pics attached of our trip).... Overall, very friendly owners and they take care of everything you may ever need. Enjoyed our Firenze trip thoroughly !

Hotel Casci offers a quiet calm immaculately clean refuge in busy Florence. Only a short walk to the Duomo, Hotel Casci is also an easy walk from the Train Station (if you don't have a lot of luggage). Bed was comfortable, bathroom well appointed. The concierge is very helpful. Breakfast offers a variety of breads, coffee/tea, boiled eggs. This is a very good value and we will stay here again.
