Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

We came to this hotel (Halali family) for the first time, the hotel was great, first of all the hotel is located at ZTL zone and they send someone to park our car, than we receive the room immediately, the room was big and comfort, but the best thing at this hotel is the

Terrible experience staying here. Bad unfriendly staff is just part of it ... only 1 girl at the desk to attend to guests... and invariably, continuously on the phone. In barely 3 days we stayed, I had 3 occasions when I would go to the desk and wait for up to 15 minutes waiting

We arrived at 9pm and to our surprise there was no open reception. The door of the building was jammed. After a long time we got information that at night time guests had to move 350 meters to find another hotel (Hotel Signoria) where they could check in. Imagine doing this with

I do not understand all of the positive reviews. We stayed here based on a recommendation from a travel book and saying we hated it is an understatement. We both got bed bug bites all over us and we used the laundry service and the pants came back torn with a huge hole and

Response from SabinaNova, Responsabile reception at B&B La Dimora degli Angeli
Responded 14 Nov 2018
Dear Kelly, we are really sorry for your bad opinion about our B&B, but let me mention a few things. Is written in every website that reception staff is on site from 9 am to 7pm, so you had all the time available to complain about bed bugs. Our matresses are all new, and no other guest who stayed in your room had this kind of problem, they only had nice word to say about our service and about our beds. We are not responsible about the laundry service, this is an external service we offer. Kind regards

I'm almost positive they had a safe. I also don't remember for sure, but we would not have left our passport anywhere else and we didn't carry it around with us each time we left the hotel. So likely, yes!

While I was there I didn't see any cats on premise.

We were in the room overlooking the road but there was absolutely no noise at night to keep us awake. Probably due to a combination of very little traffic at that time and the room being on (I think) the fourth floor.

Hello Elizabeth. I do not believe this hotel will accommodate children. The question would be how old? If the child is under 12 or 13 I would say definitely not. The maximum people for a triple room is 3. This is a gorgeous hotel, but not for children. .
