Very comfortable hotel along the sea and at walking distance of the old historical centre of Bari. We had booked 2 superior rooms and, at check-in, we had the nice surprise that both were upgraded to panoramic rooms, this was great. If you have a car, there is a convenient valet service for 30 eur per night. You can find all you want at breakfast. There is a nice pool but we did not have time to try it. The staff members at the reception are very nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located along the seafront. Outside it is a nice building as well as rooms that are lovely decorated. We had a good experience on average, but some issues make this hotel, not a true 5-stars. 1) The cleaning lady forgot several times to provide clean bath towels. We were a couple and we got only 1 bath towel. 2) In our room, there was a kettle. We were used to making coffee or tea. However, the cleaning lady has not refilled the missing items. 3) The room and the bathroom were clean, but nothing more than average. 4) The breakfast room was very crowded. No distancing and no gloves were worn. If you want to have a cappuccino or coffee or crepes you have to ask for it. Moreover, it could take time to get them. The breakfast is served until 10.30, if you go towards 10, you can find a mess and a lot of missing food. 5) The restaurant is not good. You can find similar food as well you have at the breakfast. If you can, please avoid it. In addition, if you come from the Bari central station, you can take bus number 12 to reach the hotel.

Checked into this hotel went to our room, lovely, but very hot. Informed the front desk and they reset the temperature. Went out to explore our area. Returned to our room, still super hot, too late to change rooms as we were too tired. We slept on top of the sheets. Next morning informed them the room was too hot, they checked and indeed it was 27 degrees and would change our room. The second room was wonderfully chilled. We decided to head to Lecca and then return to Bari before heading back to Rome. We asked the front desk, considering we had a lousy first night, could we have a room at the same rate. CLARRISSA a front end clerk, said she could give us a room 100 euro more bc they were busy. When we explained that we should be compensated somehow for a lousy night, she “ I don’t like what you are doing to get a better rate.” WHAT! We did have a horrible first night. She continued to berate us and when I asked for the manager, her response was ,,okay fine, you can have an extra night at the same rate…my husband and I are both professionals and well travelled and are not accustom to being spoken that like by anyone, let alone some snippet hotel receptionist. She was disrespectful and rude. She should not be dealing with customers, if that is how she handles an issue. The rest of the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful including Lamine, the concierge. Although I would still recommend this hotel, given its location and comfort, the expression - it only takes one bad apple, comes to mind..

On July 28 at 8:30 am we got close to have breakfast, staff indicated that breakfast was not included in our reservation. When we went from the last floor (restaurant) to the first floor to solve the problem, the receptionist "attended" us, we explained that we had paid for breakfast but that it did not appear in the system, and she replied: "Don't worry that we offer your breakfast". I told her that we did not want her to give us anything, only that we had paid for breakfast, but she insisted that we had not paid, I showed her the receipt where it indicates "R02 Pernottamento e Prima Cola" that in italian I think it means Prima Cola = breakfast, but she kept telling us that we did not have breakfast included. Time passed and the receptionist instead of giving priority to our problem, continued to attend to other people at the reception, even having arrived after us. At this point she asked us for the reservation that we had made, my son sent it to me by whatsapp, I showed it to the receptionist and he replied that he had to send it to her by email, my son sent it by email. We had to tell her that she had already received the email, because as I had said before, our problem was not a priority for her. When she saw the e-mail, she said: "Ahh, it is that you had made the reservation through Booking on June 24", we did not understand what she meant by that. After all this she simply told us: "You can go to breakfast" and SHE DOES NOT APOLOGIZE AT ANY TIME, it was already after 9:30 a.m., thanks to this our activities scheduled for this day were ruined. Apart from the bad attention of the receptionist, I can also say that there were very friendly staff, a person named Isabella who voluntarily offered her help and that I think that without her the receptionist would not have done anything, Isabella apologized to us for all the inconveniences, she even coordinated our breakfast to the room, because the truth was that we no longer wanted to go to the restaurant. Optimal cleanliness and stanza, pool with beautiful ocean views.

We arrived to the hotel at 3pm, very hungry after the trip. It’s Italy, so of course the restaurant was close, but there was no other option to order anything. I expect in 5* hotel that during the day sandwich or a snack should be always available to order in the bar or room service. The pool is very small, the pool towels you need to take from the reception (pool is in 5th floor, reception at 0)… there is no service in the pool, you need to come with your water. During the first swimming my 6 years old son hurt himself badly in the feet. There was a sharp edge of the tile from the mosaics. He was bleeding, there was no one to help. It was the first day of our holiday and it’s ruining it all, cause the wound is that deep he can’t go to the pool or sea, it hurts when he walk. The receptionist was very sorry, and asked if she could help. And that was all. She didn’t offer a doctor’s attendance or even a bandage. The triple superior room is pretty spacious but very poor with the view to the wall. The hotel is facing the sea so In 5* stars hotel that’s is charging you like 5* stars I would except at least city view. This one is awful. Even though it’s triple room there are 2 chairs. There is no hair conditioner in the bathroom. It’s definitely not the standard and experience that I expected from 5* hotel, very disappointing.
