Good location, comfortable room, good breakfast. Quiet area- but right on a daytime happening square. No coffee/fridge in the room. Attentive staff. A triple room that was not cramped. Stayed in March, so unsure if AC is adequate. Great pizzaria downstairs, just outside.

We really warmed to this hotel. It is located right on the Piazza Erbe and has a small terrace overlooking the square. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for a stay. Breakfast was good quality as well.

The Aurora is a typical old-fashioned Italian hotel with smallish rooms and many odd nooks and steps, but we were quite comfortable, and the friendly and gracious staffers at the front desk and in the dining room made our stay very enjoyable. There's a charming terrace overlooking the Piazza Erbe where guests can take their breakfast or apertivo. Location is ideal for walking around the old city.

Room Tip: You may hear some noise from the piazza late at night or in the morning, but it's worth it!

Stayed for 4 nights at the start of our trip and checked in at midnight after 20 hours of travel. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport ( highly recommend for +€10). Night porter could not have been kinder. Room 6, standard room was all we needed with a comfy king bed, super clean, view of the piazza and A/C. Right on Piazza del Erbe in the historical center of the old town. Hop on hop off stop right outside the hotel (Tip: Do not get on at Stop#1! Disorganized, overcrowded etc. Two itineraries so switch at stops 5 and 6) Highly recommend Osteria del Ugo, a short walk. Back to the hotel: family run with the patriarch there every morning early in his black suit and tie. The staff is wonderful, helpful and friendly. Bonus is the second floor terrace where breakfast (included) is served from a buffet one floor down. Excellent breakfast. Tip: There is an elevator on the second floor, but it does not go directly to every floor so there are some stairs at check in and possible stairs depending on your room number. Rooms 5,6 have direct elevator service from floor 2. Highly recommend this 3 star hotel with 5 star service and atmosphere.

A characterful, friendly and extremely convenient hotel with the absolute best view from the terrace. Quite a few stairs, which were a bit of a challenge for my elderly dad, but he made it and we did know about that before we went.

Overlooking the Piazza Erbe, this is a comfortable hotel with a fabulous view from the front window. A buffet breakfast can be taken on the balcony where you can watch as the piazza comes to life in the morning.

Just returned from a fabulous 4 night holiday staying at this hotel in Verona. Perfectly situated, spotlessly clean & such friendly helpful staff. We stayed in the apartment which was lovely plenty of space for 3 adults as we were travelling with our autistic son. Great selection at breakfast & nothing was too much trouble from reception when we had a question, they organised taxis & helped with train timetables. This really is a hidden gem & we were very surprised it is only a 3 star hotel. Thank you we hope to return in the future. Louise, Dave & George

Very nice old charming hotel located in the center of the old town. We were 4 couples and we all agreed that the hotel was very nice, the service very good and the location could not have been better. The only issue was the parking as the hotel is in the old town and there is no parking in that area

Really good location, very central with all the sites within a short walking distance. All staff very friendly and could not fault them. Breakfast very simple. Room was small but comfortable with the bathroom shower leaking. Overall very good.
