Perfect spot in Venezia. Food is good, staff is friendly. I definitely recommend this place. The pastas al ragù di manzo were awesome. Prices are fair, and they have a good selection of wines. I know There are lots of restaurants in Venezia, and some offer a Nice view of the canals, but here I didn’t feel rushed and I could enjoy my meal with pleasure.

Stumbled upon this place when lost in Venice. The host is so knowledgable about the city and importantly the menu. The food is the best we have encountered in Venice and the service is second to none. A very reasonable place too, not overly expensive. A family friendly place with amazing food; the pasta, the sea bass, the shrimp, the biscuits... everything is faultless. Whatever you ask for, they will make, even if it’s not on the menu. Cannot recommend highly enough. Definitely worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Walking around in Venice and happened up on this restaurant for lunch. We had a pizza with mushrooms and cheese along with sea bass cannoli with lobster sauce. Both were served hot with nice aroma and plated beautifully.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant while getting lost in Venice. They had good selection of wines and cocktails. They also featured pasta as well as regional dishes. My husband had the gnocchi and a I the cuttlefish in ink and over polenta. It was so delicious, I had to defend my plate from my husband. They also have AC inside which is great during a hot summer month

Great restaurant with a friendly Italian waiter, we have been to a few restaurants in Venice and this is the best food we’ve had so far. You can tell the chef cares about the food he serves so we will definitely return here. Unfortunately there are many tourist traps in Venice with terrible food but San Lio is definitely the place to go to!

The only place that caught our eye... lovely looking street terrace, sweet interior & amazing food. We took 3 kind’s of pizzas and all 3 were fantastic. We will definitely come back when we’re in Venice. Highly recommended.

This hotel is above a restaurant. It appears to have four rooms up a flight of stairs. Entry was secure with three doors to unlock to get to your room. The triple room we stayed in was nicely decorated. It had a modern bathroom, but the shower was very small. The room had a safe, refrigerator, and TV (although we didn’t turn it on). The location was great. It was a short walk to St. Mark’s Square, Rialto Bridge and the hospital area. It was close enough to all three to see signs directing you to the locations. After a day we could get to all the locations without getting lost. It is also located on a major street with many shops, restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. The rooms smelled stuffy when locked up so we opened windows during the day. However, we did get bug bites due to small mosquitoes entering the room. The street was noisy but with the wood shutters and windows closed the noise was significantly reduced. The main noise came from thin walls (could hear next room coming and going and talking from the local apartment that had shared walls). In addition, we could hear laughing and talking in the restaurant until 11 and then the chairs and table being dragged inside until 11:30. We could then hear set up shortly before 9 am. We didn’t go to bed until after 11 so the noise did not seriously interrupt our sleep. There was WiFi but it was super weak in the room. WiFi was good in the restaurant though. The breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice and several fresh muffins and rolls. We booked the room at the last minute and got a good price for the area. My family though it was a big improvement over the other property we stayed the night prior.
