We would highly recommend hotel Le Isole in Venice. We had 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and the family room was perfect. Nice windows to the courtyard, The price was fair, breakfast was good and great location. Only a few min walk to st marks Square and major sites. Lots of restaurants nearby including lots along the canals. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Le Isole hotel for American family of 5. Le Isole is a small boutique hotel with just 12 rooms and is family owned. The hotel used to be a post office in Venice and was purchased by a local family and refurbished and renovated in to a hotel. Nicola is part of the family and assisted us throughout our stay. We took the vaporetto water bus to arrive to the hotel from the main train station. The cost was nominal at 37.50 euros and the trip took about 35-40 minutes. However, with five pieces of medium size luggage it was a bit hectic. Therefore, upon departure we took a water taxi to the main train station for 70 euros. It cost about twice as much after gratuity, however, it only took 20 minutes and was much less stressful and hectic. No need for a reservation for water taxi just walk up to taxi stand and request a ride. Just get a price quote prior to leaving. Check-in at the hotel was quick and easy even for three rooms that we had reserved. All three rooms were immaculate upon arrival and thankfully the air conditioning already had the rooms very cool. The hotel is in the perfect location; as it’s close to numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. However, it’s located on an extremely local traffic side walkway and was quiet and relaxing throughout our stay. We had breakfast both mornings we were there and there was plenty of items and drinks to choose from. The courtyard in the mornings and evening drinks from the bar was a pleasant experience throughout our stay. I highly recommend staying at Le Isole for your stay in Venice. You will not be disappointed.…
The hotel staff are amazing!!!! What ever is your question about they know the answer and are very friendly, an asset to the hotel!!! The location is amazing, just 2 minutes from the vaporeto station Zacarias, that by the way is also 2 minutes from SAN Marcus square. There is gondolas right out their door and the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable!!! Breakfast there is room for improvement but because of its location you can get coffee anywhere, I will definitely stay again and I recommend you to also try!!!
Excellent location and breakfast! Right in the heart of the city, close to St. Marks square and all the main Venice attractions. Quaint courtyard for relaxing and having a drink and breakfast. Right on a canal with gondolas.
This was my first time at this hotel. I knew the location in Castello which I like being away from the crowds. Our room was very pleasant, had a few of the restaurants below, but still quiet. The location is great right off the vaporetti stops. The breakfast staff was so nice and accommodating, food was so fresh, I can't thank them enough. Staff was great and it was a hotel I would definitely return to in Venice. They arranged for transportation leaving and we had a flight delay which when we called they were also concerned due to our late arrival. It was a wonderful stay and I look forward to staying here again my next trip. Restaurants nearby had the best food of all the cities we visited this time in Italy. The food in Venice I believe surpasses Florence, Siena or Tuscany and Rome for our visit this time.…
We loved this hotel! Our room overlooked the canal, and was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed. Breakfast was served in the small courtyard with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and baked goodies served with coffee and juice. We were close enough to easily explore Venice or catch a boat but it was also good to get away from the crowds at the end of a busy day. If I returned to Venice I would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful small hotel close to St Mark Square, shops, food and bars. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Warm, friendly and very responsive. Our room was very nice and clean, but the bar outside our window across the street can be lively so if you are looking for something quiet, I would recommend getting a room with the courtyard view. The breakfast was excellent as well. We loved Venice and the Le Isole. When we come back, they will be our first choice.
Steps from St. Marco Square, you can't beat the location. It is quiet: on a small canal. The breakfasts are good and the staff are friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Venice.
This hotel is wonderful! Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Linens were fresh everyday. Staff was very informative and helpful with all of our questions. Where to for dinner? Best pizza? They Arranged a tour at a glass factory on Murano. An a Private water taxi to the airport. The breakfast was amazing. Coffee was good food was freshly cooked to order with lots of extra breads and meats. The location is amazing, Just around the corner from St Marks Square. Easy to reach by taxi.
This is one of the nicest hotels we have visited. It is small, attentive, great breakfasts and the best location possible. They took care of trips, reservations, recommendations, suggestions and on and on. We stayed in Room 204 which has it's own tiny balcony, really cool chandelier, and lots and lots of room. The price is so reasonable that I am still pinching myself. Very clean, very nice guests and they have their own lovely courtyard to enjoy breakfast or even a nice bottle of wine in the late afternoon. Do yourself a favor and book it now.
