My written italian is really poor, so...
As usual (this was the 4th time at this little paradise on earth), everything was wonderful.
The room is perfect, as the service.
Every day, you can't wait to be at the dinner (la cena) to enjoy the five courses of "le chef". The breakfast is really nice too : extended all you can eat buffet.
What else to say ? Nothing compare to the hospitality of the owners.

The accommodation and gardens are kept immaculate. Free WiFi, which can be patchy at times. There are sun chairs and sun umbrellas and plenty of comfortable seating in the garden to have a rest after a days of hiking. The surrounding is very peaceful and super quiet at night.
Gaby is an excellent chef, cooking up a storm of local specialities each night. I can only recommend to opt into half board, otherwise you are missing out big time. Breakfast is equally plentiful and too much to chose from.
The Louis Trenker bath soap and body lotion smells so divine, why did I not take some home?
Gaby is helpful with advise and maps on hikes for every fitness level. Nothing is too much trouble, even washing some of our clothes was taken care of swiftly.
Staying at Villa Gabriella is an experience beyond expectations.

I must say that overall we had a lovely stay!

The room was clean and stylish, and we had a nice balcony that overlooked the hills.

We had the half-board, and the food was absolutely delicious! We only had two other meals in our two-week trip that came even close to what we had for dinner here!

So why not five stars? Two small things, but they definitely put a damper on our trip:

1) We arrived home early from hiking (5:15ish) so that we could use the 'spa' because it is only open for a few hours each day. (I think 3:30-6:30? Can't remember.) It is requested that you go in a robe and slippers and bring the bag with towels. We get ready and then descend (at 5:30) to the spa to enjoy an hour of the sauna before it closed-- only to find it completely shut down!!!!! Incredibly disappointing for our honeymoon!

2) We return up stairs to shower and such since we can't use the spa, and about 6:20 there is a knock on the door. My husband was taking a nap and I was in lounge clothes checking emails. Who is at the door? A staff member telling us that dinner was already being served NOW! An hour early!! I had to wake my husband up and I had to throw on decent clothes, so we could run down there.

I must admit that it was our host's birthday, so I understand that they wanted to have dinner early. That is fine.

What I do not find acceptable is that we spoke to both the owners at breakfast that morning and said hi as we came in at 5:15, and we were NOT told either time that dinner would be served early!! It was just ridiculous that it was never mentioned to us until it *was already being served -- and hour early*!

My husband joked that it was good that the sauna was not working, or we would have walked up the stairs in robes only to be greeted by a dining room full of people eating!

One other thing, the staff member who knocked on the door to tell us that dinner was currently being served did apologize that the sauna was not working. She said that we should have told them that we had wanted to use it that morning. What is the point of having printed 'open hours' when you have to ask them to open it??

We stayed at Villa Gabriela for three nights in October. It was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our trip to the Dolomites area. We did take the half board which includes breakfast and dinner. Gabriela is a trained chef and every dinner was simply amazing, with many local specialities. We took the lovely walk from the Villa into the town of Castelrotto which was a beautiful walk. We had a car so took day trips to the other hiking areas and towns nearby. There is a wonderful steam room, sauna, and relaxation room which was great at the end of our day trips and before dinner. The Villa is exquisitely decorated. Daniel is an architect and everywhere you look is a beautiful design. Our room had a balcony and was very cozy and comfortable. The entire staff made us feel welcomed, special, and were very helpful with our plans. Truly a special treat with beautiful vistas of the mountains all around.

We booked this in advance believing it was in the town of Castelrotto, which is a small town near the Dolomites. In fact, the property was about 2 miles away, nestled on a hillside with a dominant view of the mountains. The location was a bonus and the accommodations were outstanding. Gabriella is the energy behind the hotel wearing most every hat in running the place and she made us feel very welcome. The room was decorated in a Tyrolian style [the structure looks very new in spite of the design] with plenty of charm. We had a view of the mountains from our balcony. The breakfasts were a big part of the service with complete selection and delicious food. The location was perfect in that we could drive in any direction to see some of the major sights [hiking across the Dolomites]. If they have any challenges, it was parking, where we had to work to get our car in and out. Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to come to the Dolomites.

Daniel and Gabi are wonderful hosts. The ambience reflects the fact that this B&B has a very family- oriented atmosphere - kids and dogs scampering about. Rooms are clean and cosy. The food is excellent and a showcase for Gabi's cooking.Highly recommended.

This place is fabulous - the rooms, facilities, service and dining experience are unique, remarkable and incomparable. This hotel – run by a family - has extremely friendly, charismatic and helpful owners and personnel.
The house, situated in a valley, is surrounded by quite meadows; it is an ideal starting point to visit all highlight of the region - whether you are looking for world class slopes or hiking trails.
The breakfast buffet is extensive, dinner is always creative and top notch and their wine menu offers a great variety of locally sourced wines; however, should there be anything you’re missing – just ask for it.
Don’t forget to relax in their sauna area after a day out – they have both, a steam room and a Finnish sauna and a great relaxation area.
All in all, a great place to spend a week or two to enjoy the Italian Alps, food, beverages and culture.
Looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Lovely intimate hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay. Amazing attention to detail. The situation is lovely. Nice and quiet but not isolated. Convenient for the local town etc. Top class food which you would find difficult to beat. We usually go out to eat when we are on holiday but after our first evening meal decided to eat at the villa each evening. We enjoyed chatting with other guests and sitting in the garden in the afternoon. Our room was lovely with a lovely view of the green hills. We did lots of walking during our stay and found the villa a great location for all we wanted to do.

Very much hope to visit again.

We loved our time at Villa Gabriela. There was simply nothing to fault and a first class experience from start to finish from every angle. Location - lovely, quality of facilities - perfect, Food - 1/2 board - AMAZING, Friendly and professional service - All the time. Value for money - definitely. We were after a quality, comfortable experience in a nice location for our first trip to the Dolomites. Villa Gabriela delivered on all accounts. Would we stay here again - in a heart beat and are planning to return next time we go to Europe.
