The hotel is situated perfectly for the views of the western side of Lake Como. Stunningly beautiful area. The hotel itself has a lot of potential. The lobby shows some wear. Check in was lovely with the very delightful lady at the front counter. The room itself is large and has a small kitchenette area. Incredible views of the lake. The balcony is shared and this you will not have privacy to walk around in your knickers. They attempted to puts some demarcation plants… however, people still look. TV is a 30” at best but you probably never use it. Just a strange thing to sit 6 meters away in the couch from a 30 inch TV. Another strange item is the Tub shower. No doors just a triangular shaped tub with a shower wand attachment. Needless to say there was water all over the bathroom floor within a minute. And you will die if you make one wrong move since it is very slippery inside the tub. Soaps are one to two star hotel quality with a strange smell. One liquid soap for hair, body and hair conditioner. Bed was not comfortable but not the worst. Breakfast was good. Not great in comparison to other hotels in Italy. They did have fresh pineapple and yogurt. They were not willing to cook a soft boil egg. So eat what’s there and like it. Coffee was not Illy level, but still not bad. In our room there were a lot of areas where you can see hand marks and hair wiped onto the wall and hence because of the lack of maintenance, uncleanliness and the almost killing my self in the shower they lost points. But maybe they have nicer rooms and for the price it is worth it for and quasi bed and breakfast feel. Like I said, Lot of potential.

We sent four nights at Borgo Le terrazze in September. The views are simply amazing and it was very easy to get in and out of Bellagio from there. Each room has a great view but also breakfast is served outdoors overlooking a panorama of the lake…really can’t ask for much more. The breakfast was a very huge spread each day and I never got tired of their eggs and bacon. More than I needed but we loved the options, and they made it easy on us foreigners by speaking English very well and being happy to help. They don’t offer a restaurant but they had a huge room service menu of various pastas and desserts (and wines) that my wife and I took full advantage of and it was just as good as anything we had in Bellagio…we were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very spacious with a nice kitchenette and a huge patio with table and chairs. The tub/shower situation was a bit odd since there was no shower curtain and it made a mess every time one of us showered but it was probably more my lack of familiarity with that setup…with that said the tub jacuzzi was very nice. If we were going back to stay just outside Bellagio again we would stay here again for certain. Lastly I should mention we had to rebook this trip 3x due to COVID and they were extremely flexible in allowing us to select new dates, even for the non-refundable stay I selected originally. I think that is a good example of how everyone there tried to go above and beyond to help the guests.

We chose Borgo Le Terrazze for a special birthday occasion…it didn’t disappoint! We had a self catering suite with spectacular views from our private terrace and small garden area. The rooms were immaculate and ALL of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool and breakfast terrace offer equally stunning views. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We initially booked this hotel for May 2020 but due to the pandemic had to move this date on various occasions due to restrictions. The hotel have been nothing but helpful and accommodating with this. We eventually stayed here for 2 nights in September...it was worth the wait. The views are incredible, the hotel is modern and clean, staff are friendly and the daily shuttle bus was extremely handy to have available for a small fee. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and can't recommend it enough. Grazie for an amazing stay!!

This one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We had the Borgo Suite with a fantatic terrass overlooking Lake Como. The people are great - service minded and efficient. It’s easy to take the ferries to Menaggio, Varena and Tremizzo. You can use the hotel’s shuttle service to the city center.
