We loved this hotel. My wife and I visited Rome for our 10 year anniversary. After weeks (and months) of researching a nice hotel, we decided to go with DOM hotel and we were not let down. The location was perfect. The room nice and...More

We stayed four nights at the Hotel DOM. We had room 24 - upstairs was the bedroom, and downstairs held the walk-in closet (watch your head!), bathroom, and large private outdoor deck with Vatican vistas. The staff were competent, courteous, and anticipatory. The room is...More
Stayed at the DOM this past week on our first trip to Italy. Location is good; walking distance to the Tiber and Vatican area. Property is located on a quiet narrow street so be sure to get your bearings before venturing out. Some reviews mention...More
In the heart of the papal and aristocratic Rome, the D.O.M is a brand new luxury hotel, set in a 17th Century aristocratic palace. Its position in Via Giulia, one of the most iconic streets of the city ...Morecentre, is very convenient between Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Trastevere e San Pietro. The hotel D.O.M is the perfect pick for those who want to savour the architectural beauty and the artistic treasures of the rive droite of Rome, far from the mainstream tourist routes. The hotel emanates the atmosphere of an aristocratic household, a unique combination of sacredness and luxury: the ambience is enriched by numerous design pieces and works of art. In the elegant restaurant the original Andy Wharol "Ladies and Gentleman" serigraphs will surely catch the eye of the guests. The cocktail bar, cosy and small, reminds the old American speakeasy bars. The 18 rooms and suites - all overlooking Via Giulia - offer absolute comfort: they combine contemporary touches, among which design vases and pictures and paintings by various artists, with authentic period details, such as white wood coffered ceilings and decorative brick walls. Some have a living room area, mirror TVs, cashmere and silk carpets. The hotel's spectacular roof terrace, which smells of rosemary and lemon, recalls the Dolce Vita times: guest will be able to enjoy an aperitif or to read one of the hotel's library books in perfect relax admiring the roofs and the churches in the Regola borough, facing the green hill of Gianicolo and overlooking the ancient Roman archaeological site of 'Stabula Augusti'. With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.

I'm sorry to say I don't know the answer to this question. When I stayed in October, I was upgraded to a fabulous room, but it had a large bed. I do understand the point, as I prefer separate beds when traveling with my girlfriends for a girl's weekend. I advise contacting the hotel to see what they say. I'm so sorry I can't help you on this, but hope you enjoy your stay in Rome.
