Just got back from a trip to Italy with a tour (Cosmos) and stayed in this hotel on our last night. It's a bit far from the centre of Rome but if you are looking for inexpensive and clean accommodation, this hotel is fine. The shower was slightly larger than usual and bathroom overall slightly nicer. It was clean and the staff were courteous. It's in a busy area in Rome with plenty of public transit available. A bonus: it was on a quiet side street so we weren't bothered by loud traffic. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate area, and not too many tourists.

We stayed here as part of a Cosmos tour so no idea of cost but I hope it's pretty cheap!!
First time we have the top of the floor with a view however need to climb stairs, on the return we had a room above the breakfast room, been told some rooms are smaller than others, however ours was fantastic . But the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was limited but edible, coffee is awful. The nearby area offered a great choice of restaurants, ( come out of the hotel turn left walk 2 blocks and you have a supermarket across the road or turn right or left 5 mins walk come to a heap of restaurants a couple of excellent thoroughly Italian restaurants, The bus stop is at the end of the road have to have a ticket before you board ( get from a tobacconist) and it only took 10 minutes to get to central Rome.

Stopped here as part of a Cosmos tour. This hotel is a good bus ride away from the attractions of Rome. There are two small supermarkets nearby (turn left out of hotel to end of road then turn right & supermarket on each side of road) & there are pizza houses & restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
You could have free wi-fi for a couple of hours but people found it very difficult to connect. Many of the rooms are small, having a hairdryer but no drink making facilities. Rooms are very clean & staff are friendly & helpful. The lifts up to the rooms are very small. The breakfast room is small, there is a juice & hot drinks machine, bread , honey, jam, ham, cereal, yogurts, scrambled egg, bacon, cakes & pastries.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The location is in a residential area so it's quiet but it's really far from all the attractions. We had tot ake the bus everywhere.. there is a very close bus stop tho but it wasn't convenient having to wait for buses late at night to go home.

The breakfast is a disaster.. a bunch of processed cheese, biscuits and some old croissants. Very limited selection that we had to skip it one day and have breakfast somewhere else.

The room is tiny! Very old fashioned and to be honest and doesn't feel like it was deep cleaned between guests. The walls had weird marks on them and the bathroom drain was very slow to drain water after the shower.

I only give it 2 stars coz the checking in and out was smooth and friendly. Not worth it for the price. Wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel is located in a quiet residential green area. It is highly recommended if you would like to have a good night's sleep after travelling and working all day. The breakfast is good. The bed is very comfortable. I would say that the rooms are worth the price. The major tourist attractions can be easily accessed by a bus. It takes around half an hour to walk to the city center which wasn't much of a problem for me as I like walking.

Stayed here twice, at the start and finish of a Cosmos tour in August 2010. The first room was good, large and comfortable. The second time we were in Room 806. AVOID THIS ROOM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! It was very, very small, which you may be able to cope with. But the double bed is uncomfortable even to look at, with the mattress curling into a huge valley down the middle. Lying on the bed does not improve the situation. Diabolical!

Internet is expensive and only works from a public location in a corridor, not in individual rooms.

There is a supermarket about five minutes walk away. Ask the staff where it is. They didn’t tell us when we asked about food options in the area. On a Sunday afternoon there is not much else around.

We (2 couples) joined the Cosmos Jewels of Italy tour commencing on 28 April 2013. Buenos Aires was chosen by Cosmos to be the hotel where we stayed the first night. I consider Buenos Aires to be the worst hotel of that tour by far. Indeed all the other hotels in the itinerary were of good standard and to our satisfaction. I have given Buenos Aires a POOR rating for the following reasons:

1. On checking in at about 7pm on 28 April, our room had a tray with cups and coffee / tea satchels but no electric kettle. On asking the man (with a moustache) on duty at reception at the time if we could get hold of an electric kettle, his reply was that our room should have one but he was not prepared to provide it because we were Chinese (we are Asian Australians). We asked him why and he said he was instructed by the Chinese embassy in Rome that no kettle should be provided to Chinese guests. We found the conversation to be absurd and saw no point in taking it further.
2. 28 April was warm and humid in Rome. There was air-conditioner in the room but it could not be turned on. Our second question to the man at reception was if the air-conditioner worked. His answer was that the central control switch had not been turned on. He went on to proclaim that he would not turn on the control switch because of environmental concerns. We came to the conclusion that he was plainly hostile and quite enjoyed going out of his way to make our stay unpleasant. Needless to say, that night the room was warm and stuffy.
3. Hotel building - to get to our room, we needed to lift our luggage over a few steps (there is no ramp) to get to the elevator. One has to do the lifting oneself if the one and only porter is not around to help. That may be OK for the younger folks but not so user friendly for the elderly and/or the infirm.
4. Our room (601) had a musty smell.
5. Being in a tour group numbering over 40, we all went to breakfast at about the same time. Only one hotel staff was on hand to serve and the result was that the later comers missed out on quite a few food items. The lone staff member was simply too busy to replenish exhausted dishes before we had to leave to start the day's tour.
6. The hotel is away from any reasonable shopping / restaurant precincts. The closest pizzerias (we failed to find any restaurant within walking distance) are about 15 minutes' walk away. In theory there is regular public bus service to the major attractions. However our experience was that, during peak hours, it was quite a long wait before we could get on one.

We again stayed at Bueno Aires on 10 and 11 May 2013, the last 2 days of the Cosmos tour. I have to say that the reception staff on these last 2 days were much more friendly and cooperative. My rating would have been Terrible if not for them. What has been bothering me is: "Why does Cosmos use this hotel?" when, as a matter of fact, it is so much inferior in all aspects to the other hotels included in the tour and therefore totally out of character in the context of that tour.

we stayed here as a part of the cosmos tour for a couple of days during august and sept. the rooms have been recently renovated and they were clean. However, we stayed in room 403 and there were bed bugs to our horror. we woke up in the morning with bites all over our legs and arms. it was very disturbing. I must say that out of all of our group our room was the only one with bed bugs. the breakfast was pretty simple but you could definitely find something to your liking. There was no free wifi and the only computer in the lobby was not working. the staff were quit nice and friendly. it is quit far from the city centre but you can easily take the public transportation to get to the centre.

We stayed at this hotel at the start and end of a Cosmos tour of Italy,it's located in a quite part of the city. The hotel is small, basic, but clean, the bedroom was also small even by Italian standards, we could not completely unpack, so we lived out of our suitcases during our stay. The bathroom was next to the bed, also clean functional but basic, the room would be suitable for a single business traveller. The included breakfast was simple and basic unless you can eat cakes at 0630 and is self service, we found the staff slow to clear the tables to allow other people to use the facility. We must give a special mention to Simone, a member of the reception staff.Simone gave us great, simple travel directions of how to get to the Tivoli gardens independently, better than our own tour guide, well done Simone and thanks again

We started our two week Cosmos tour in this hotel and ended there as well. The rooms are small (think opening your suitcase on the bed kinda small), bathrooms are medium sized but clean & functional.
The neighborhood is very quite which is great for sleeping but to walk to the center of Rome it takes about 1.5 h, and we are good walkers! So, next time I guess we would choose the bus.

The staff is friendly but a bit reserved. We only had breakfast at the hotel, I would compare it with a decent continental breakfast. Some rolls/ cakes, toast, cheese/ ham, cereal, coffee/ tea and milk. Nothing too fancy but efficient.

The hotel was okay but I did not have the feeling of "being" in Rome. We have been in Rome before, without a tour, and stayed minutes away from the Trevi fountain. Was more expensive of course but you were right in the middle of the city. Next time we visit Rome we will stay more centrally located.
Also, restaurant wise, on the weekend you will have a tough choice. The neighborhood is more residential and it takes a looong time to find something that's a) open and b) looks decent.

We arrived very late and no problem, some had arrived early and said no problem. I think its a 24 hour hotel but if she is with Cosmos she should be met by them and their rep. If its Juan Luca hes very nice. Please say Hi from Mr & Mrs Kidd Thanks.
