We had room 3 for one night only. Clean, comfortable bed, small room but had everything we needed. Best part of hotel is the lovely tree-filled courtyard with tables and seating for happy hour and breakfast or just a retreat to enjoy reading the paper....More
This hotel was *fabulous*. I absolutely loved it. I stayed in January 2018, and it couldn't have been better. Trastevere is a wonderful neighborhood and just a short walk from all of the sights in Rome (Pantheon, Vatican City, the Colosseum, and so on). It...More
We loved our stay here. The room was clean and spacious. Our door opened onto a beautiful courtyard. The staff could not have been more helpful or more kind & friendly. They recommend fabulous restaurants, gave excellent directions, and arranged our ride back to the...More
Wonderful spot within 20-30 minute walk of pretty much all major sites. Many good restaurants within a 10 minute radius, great vibe in this neighbourhood. Very nice breakfast, and happy hour with complimentary hors d'oeuvres, both served in the beautiful courtyard. Staff highly considerate and...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
