The hotel staff was friendly and service minded, reception open 24/7. The location i central Trastevere is great, walking distance to all the major sights.

Loved everything about this hotel and would have loved to have stayed longer than our 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved having breakfast and happy hour sitting underneath the orange trees. The rooftop terrace is also a nice place to relax...More
I love this hotel. It’s so charming with the orange and lemon trees in the courtyard.

Hotel Santa Maria is an excellent choice. Very clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, very nice breakfast with an outstanding barrista, whose capaccino´s are works of art. In addition they have an open bar in the evening, serving appetizers on Saturdays and Sundays.

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
