An absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful staff and the accommodations were excellent. My friend had an issue with her room and it was dealt with within minutes of her commenting to the front desk. My room was perfect with plenty of storage and the bed was more than comfortable. Cleanliness was second to none. The staff were very friendly, helpful and more importantly, cheerful. Breakfast was a buffet style and more than plentiful to set you up for the day. We also had occasion to have dinner in the restaurant, where we were served by Vlad who was most helpful and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend any traveler to stay here.

We arrived 4 days ago and found the hotel very grand, stunning decor. We then was upgraded to a better room with an amazing terrace as it was my birthday whilst we was away. Very lovely of the hotel to provide a free bottle of Prosecco and a little cake. The spa is rather small and is not intimate as many people come in such a small area. I would recommend the hotel having people in an hour intervals, I would even pay €20 to have the spa to ourselves for an hour. The next day we was very much looking forward to breakfast however we was let down and was every day (we had bed and breakfast) the breakfast area was small and was barely stocked, felt like we was eating left overs I had to constantly ask for new food to be brought out e.g scrambled eggs, bacon as some of the trays were always empty. The staff should have kept a close eye on the breakfast bringing fresh food out when it run out but that didn’t happen, lack of service there. The WiFi wasn’t great for 1 day it wasn’t working and you have to stand in certain areas in the room to get WiFi, 2 people cannot use the WiFi at the same time in the bedroom. The manager was very nice we had a terrible meal at the hotel on valentines night and was insulted by one of the restaurant staff and the manager arranged for the meal free of charge which we really appreciate. I would definitely come back to this hotel if the standard of breakfast was acceptable could do with improvements there. Or I would stay and not eat or drink in the hotel as very over priced and the food is below average.

Dear Mrs. Kelly, first of all we would like to thank you for sharing your experience with the Tripadvisor Community. Your feedback is one of the best tool to check and improve our quality standard. We are pleased to know you have appreciated the helpfulness of our staff: your satisfaction is our first aim and we try to do our best to meet your expectations to guarantee an outstanding stay. We are glad you enjoyed the room, but we are so sorry to read your comment about breakfast and food. Actually that day the Hotel was fully booked and at the time you came down in the Restaurant was a little crowded: of course it is not an excuse but just to explain how it went: our Food & beverage Mgr. is already alerted to make sure will not happen again. We apologize for the inconvenience experienced, but we hope you would consider returning to give us the opportunity to wish you a more enjoyable stay. Best Regards, The Hotel Management

This hotel was our first stop during our honeymoon in Italy and they were great. They had prosecco and cake waiting for us in our room. The room was small but we learned most hotel rooms were small in Italy pretty much regardless of the price you pay for them. The room came with a very spacious balcony however which was great for breakfast or wine and cheese. The hotel is in a very nice and quiet street with other big hotels and is a short walk away from big attractions like the Trevi Fountain. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Rome.

I stayed here for 28 nights from 16MAR-13APR2021 and will say this hotel has its pros and cons. The best part of my stay was the housekeeping. It's possibly the best housekeeping I've ever experienced. They kept the room absolutely spotless every day I was there. Very impressive.

The staff were all professional and friendly. My room was larger than the average Roman hotel room. The bathroom was very luxurious. The bed was comfortable. The decor in the room and whole hotel were very high-class. The air conditioning was very strong and much appreciated.

The room did not have very many electric plugs. The television was hilariously small and very hard to see from the bed. The shower temperature fluctuated constantly in the evenings but was more stable in the mornings.

Thy gym is so bad, they would be better off not having a gym. The one treadmill was broken the whole time I was there and there is only one pair of dumbbells. Also, there is no WiFi in the gym.

It's a good hotel to stay for one short night if you get a good price, but I can't stay there again with the lack of a functioning gym.

I made a big, big mistake booking a stay here.
The hotel labels itself as “a boutique five star hotel”....nothing could be more wrong

Reception failed badly on a service issue for me where the manager denied mishandling my request. She later apologized. Any other “boutique five star hotel” would have handled the issue very differently.

Breakfast - watery scrambled eggs, unripe fruit, stale croissant, offerings similar to any average hotel, served pull tab creamer singles with coffee (they make cappuccino but cannot provide hot milk for American coffee drinkers????)

You might enjoy the bedroom wallpaper: pink and green stripes. Not my style.

Laundry delivered on a hanger when I requested folded.

At checkout they wanted to charge me for laundry despite a platinum partner credit in the booking (and no apology)

Via Vittorio Veneto is one of our favorite streets in Rome. Large shade producing magnolias and platans make it beautiful refuge in the summer. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are special, but breakfast on our private little terrace overlooking Via Vittorio Veneto , made it unforgettable.

We had a room with a terrace and a beautiful view. Having breakfast on the terrace was a special treat. Service was very good. It’s an elegant hotel in an upscale neighborhood not far from the Villa Borghese. Strongly recommend.
p.s. Single criticism is that they need to put some bottles of wine in the room (with an opener). The refrigerated mini bar had bottles of beer, but who wants to drink beer in Rome?

Our stay at The Grand Hotel Palace.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from most of the landmarks such as Trevi Fountain, The Vatican & Spanish Steps.

On arrival, our request for an early check-in was given and not only were we allowed to check in early, but we were upgraded.

The corner room was fantastic. Big open space with high ceiling, windows to two sides and a balcony opening out to face the US Embassy.

The bathrooms are spacious, well appointed, modern with bath and separate shower.

We dined at Cadorin and the food and service was exceptional.

The staff at the hotel are friendly and very helpful. Guilia and her team at the front desk were always accommodating.

Overall we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.

Thank you :)
