Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

The Hotel was great. It was clean, close to walking distance to most of the sites in Rome. Everything in the mini bar was free. The restaurant upstairs was excellent. However, the front desk was not....very rude, not friendly.

Dear bayride, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are thrilled to hear your words of appreciation in regards to our facilities, service and location, we were saddened to learn the shortcoming with the front desk staff. We can only assume that a misunderstanding may have occurred as our front desk team is usually very happy and polite. We, however, thank you for your feedback as it provides us with reasons to always keep up our standards of cordiality and politeness. We truly hope you will give us another chance to make it up to you and provide an even better experience. Arrivederci, Federico Pacini Hotel Manager

Hello Pepsibeth73! To answer your questions, our TVs are all SMART. Unfortunately there is no NETFLIX but you can navigate on the internet and, once there, enter your own account. Also, we do have a good variety of fresh fruit at breakfast including the grapefruit :)
