IQ is a 4-star hotel, with a twist! Located in downtown Rome, just a short 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum and with Repubblica metro station just 200 metres away, hotels don't get much central than this. IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna. We believe in tailor-made hospitality, so there are vending machines in virtually every floor, where you can buy yourself a bottle of wine, a pack of crisps, a tooth-brush or even an umbrella (not that you'll need it often!), All at very competitive prices. Now that you've found us... Welcome to a whole new hotel experience! IQ STAFF

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

I absolutely loved this hotel! I've been to Rome before but this time around decided that I wanted to be close to termini. Being near termini, it was easy to take day trips and get to and from the airport. The hotel is very nice on the inside and has great amenities. My room

Dear NamidA88, Many thanks for your review and for all the positive comments regarding your stay. We are glad to hear that you found that the cleaning of the room was up to your standards. We are sorry, however, that you found the smell of the products too strong. We can assure you that all the cleaning products we use are non-toxic and hypoallergenic and espeially suitable for hotel cleaning. Unfortunately we were not aware that the smell was disturbing to you, otherwise we would have switched to perfume-free detergents. Regarding the issue you encountered with the vending machine, we would like to clarify that there is a phone in every room where these are located, guests can just press no.9 and a member of staff will swiftly assist in case of malfunction. We apologise for the inconvenience, in this case. As you well mention, we work with dynamic fares which, in brief means that fares will change according to demand. In a specially busy period, fares will go up, due to events in the city or high-season. On the other hand, if we are left with empty rooms due to last-minute cancellations or no-shows, we can put the rooms up for sale for a reduced price. We like to ensure, however, that the guests that paid full will be offered, whenever possible, a room upgrade upon check-in or will be assigned the best available room of the same category (on the top floor, or with a balcony, for instance). We hope that, all in all, you had an agreable stay and that you would consider staying again with us in the future. Kind regards. Simona - Resident Manager

Do you have parking!
Hello MarthaM97, there is an independent private car park just at the back of iQ Hotel, in via Napoli, called Europarking. Tariffs vary from €24,00 to € 38,00 a day, depending from the vehicle. Although the car park does not belong to the Hotel, a 10% discount is applied to all our guests. Please note that we are in a restricted driving zone, but as a Hotel we can issue a limited number of entrance permits, which will allow you to enter this area for going to a parking lot but will not entitle you to drive through the different traffic zones.
