Hotel Domidea is a modern 4-star hotel . Connected to the center of Rome with Tor Sapienza Railway Station , it is located just 300 meters far from the hotel , that in just 25 minutes it reaches the center. It is reserved for guests, that book comfort rooms, the private shuttle bus that it reaches the metro b in 5 minutes. Our strong point is the rich continental breakfast , assorted by sweet and salty. Inside the hall, there is a stylish lounge bar , in which we organize happy hour with musical accompaniment . The rooms are very spacious and some rooms are with spacious balconies . The Parking zone is free . Furthermore , our reception staff suggested several local attractions and bike rides along the nearby River Aniene , immersed in the Natural Reserve . What are you waiting to visit us ??

This hotel’s service was top notch. My partner and I arrived at Rome early in the morning and we requested an early check in. The hotel staff (Roberto) approved the early check in with no extra charge.

When we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff (I don’t know the blonde lady’s name but she was the nicest). We were greeted with the guest relation manager who told us basically everything and everywhere we needed to visit in Rome. It was extremely hot when we arrived and we were given free cold water on arrival.

Cleaning service was superb. We got new shampoos and soaps everyday. Fresh towels and bedsheets daily. We needed a charger for our second night and we asked reception for it. Even though they didn’t have it, they tried to help us as best as they could. We were greeted with good mornings and good evenings everyday during our stay. Also if anyone is wondering, you will have to pay a city tax at the end of your stay. We paid €36 for 3 nights, which is normal in Rome.

Location wise, it’s a 20 min ride with 437/447 bus to Rebbibia which takes you to the city. There’s a shuttle van (8-seater) with the hotel for €3 per single journey. We didn’t use the service as we used the 72 hour bus pass (€18 we bought it at the airport).

We loved this hotel and would defo stay again here if we going to Rome again!

The hotel was very clean and our room was cleaned and refreshed each day. The service was excellent, Fabrizio greeted us with a cup of coffee and site seeing information. He was warm and welcoming. The front desk assisted us with calling a taxi and providing shuttle service to the center of Rome. The hotel is located in a business/local area. Walk around the corner and you will find delicious local authentic italian food at reasonable prices. Fabrizio upgraded our reservation to include breakfast which had a variety of choices and was maintained to perfection. The staff were friendly and accomodating. One staff member made me a cup of cappuccino each morning. I would definitely stay at Domidea Hotel again.

This is a great hotel, but it's a business hotel and the surrounding area is fairly industrial.

Communications with the hotel were good although I was told that it was 65 Euros cash by taxi from Ciampino. As a fit, single traveller, I went for the 10 Euro option, it was early morning and I had plenty of time. As it happened, I paid 35 Euros returning on a Sunday morning by taxi to the airport. The cheaper option is to get the coach (tickets in the airport) from the airport to Termini and then get the Metro (72 hour ticket for bus and Metro was about 18 Euros) to Rebibbia Metro Station then get the bus to the hotel, about an hour and a half in total.

I was early and my room wasn't ready, but they moved things around and checked me in - very helpful staff at reception.

Room was huge, very modern with fridge, coffee/ tea making facilities, safe, flatscreen TV etc. Only issue was it overlooked a big coach park. The first coach starts up early but I'm an early riser so no real issue. The tea and coffee I used was not replenished so low cal sugar etc by the end of my stay. No little milks either although the lady at reception went to the kitchen to get me some. The staff were fantastic.

The minibus service is on a schedule and I didn't wait around, the buses around the corner are very regular, although the drivers bomb along and the roads are full of potholes, really not ideal. Rebibbia Metro Station is at the end of the line so I'd say 40 minutes to get to the centre of Rome in total.

Breakfast was very good although cooked options are scrambled egg/ streaky bacon. Loads of pastries and lovely tarts, I shouldn't but I did!

Maybe not ideal if you're a couple or family but on this occasion, it fitted the bill perfectly.

Unfortunately the wifi connection was not accessible as advertised during our entire stay on the 4th floor. The location was far from the main attractions using public transportation. Rooms were clean.also there is a bus station right across and the busses are being prepared as early as 4 am so I did not get much sleep. Very loud location. Be prepared to pay local taxes at the end of your stay on top of booking fees.

Amazing hotel- staff were impeccable. I was taken extra care of whilst pregnant during my stay. Everyone was extremly polite and helpful, the rooms were very clean when we arrived and cleaned everyday of our stay, the beds were comfy and the breakfast / dinner was delicious. Was easy to communicate with everyone also, as they knew English. The hotel is not near the centre of room so allow time to travel and catch 1-2 trains & subways. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel domidea, thank you so much.

It was a wonderful stay in Hotel Domidea, the room is modern and clean, housekeeping is great, towels are changed everyday. Big room, we are family of 4, we booked a double bed with a sofa bed and we requested an additional single bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location wise, it's not in downtown Rome but hotel provide free shuttle service to take you to and from Rebbibia Metro. Free car park and amazing Italian breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to guest travel with family. Rated 10 out of 10

We stayed at hotel domidea in July for 3 nights and we couldn’t fault it at all.
The staff were really helpful and friendly,
The breakfast was lovely and there was a lot of choice.
In the evening after a long day if we wanted to eat something for dinner there were options.
Our room was lovely the bed and bathroom was nice and it was spacious.
The hotel itself isn’t too far from the airports/centre…
The hotel offer a shuttle bus to be dropped at the nearest met stop Rebibia which is on the blue line.,, from there you can get into the centre … the colosseum and change over on a different line to reach the Vatican.
We would stay again at this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay !
Chloe & Leon :-)
Thanks to the hotel staff for being so friendly and helpful during our stay

We came to watch the Ryder cup and we were so impressed with the efforts the hotel made to make everyone welcome. A specially arranged evening buffet with live music every day was perfect when you come back tired from the golf course. Everyone was incredibly friendly and shout out to Fabrizio at the bar. The general manager made a point of welcoming everyone and genuinely greeted us as long lost friends every time we came back into the hotel. On the first day of play we needed a very early (5am) trip to the golf before the train station was open - the hotel put on a special shuttle for us as taxis were near to impossible to get at that time. It was my wife’s birthday and they laid on a surprise cake and champagne. I could not imagine better service. We will be back on our next visit to Rome.

Booked this hotel last minute under the impression they had an airport shuttle, all it was is a cab that will try to charge you 90€. The shower leaked. We had a random noise that disrupted our sleep the entire night. Couldn’t figure out what it was and it was not the AC unit. Lastly the customer service was not there! Very rude at the front desk and unwelcoming. Do NOT stay here! Hotels like this are the reason AirBNB is so successful. Oh and the pictures are extremely misleading. Rooms and the hotel are extremely dated.
