The idea to open The RomeHello popped up in my mind a few years ago. Many of the international friends I had met during my own European travels would ask me for suggestions on where to find a cheap and nice place to stay in my home city of Rome. But, even after some research, I didn’t find anything fitting for them. And I thought it was senseless that a city like Rome, with all it has to offer, was kind of prohibitive for young tourists. So as my family has worked in tourism for many years, I decided to involve them in the project of opening a hostel in our city - to make it not only ours but everyone’s. Also, I decided to combine the project with my intention to do something good for the others. So I turned the hostel into a non-profit social enterprise, with the aim of changing the economic thinking of standard companies.

We had stayed in RomeHello hostel and we couldn't had mad a better choice. This hostel is new, reformed, very well located. Rooms are big, clean and confortable. We were three adults, being one senior, and we were confortable and very well received. The staff is young and gentle. Common areas are constantly movimented with all guests cooking and stayng together. Nice for young and old travellers .

Nice place to stay! It was Clean and the location was a plus! The only thing that i will suggest is to take your towel with you since the charge 3 euros for the towel since i consider expensive for what they charge for the bed.

My wife and I wanted to take a trip to Rome and spend our time touring and seeing the sights of Rome. I thought instead and spending a lot of a fancy place, which you only sleep is too much, so I thought this would be a nice change up? And indeed it was indeed. New and modern , nott lots of extra furniture, but very clean, cozy, and friendly. These people on staff helped every time we needed anything. It was extremely safe and perfect for the people who are out and about. Extra tip. Lots of fancy places close by to have a cocktail at their fancy bar if you want, and nice food and beer at the barrel restaurant on site. Good breakfast to start the day and good safe bed to come back late. Perfect!

My son paid for us to have a city break Arrived at the Rome hello after an Uber drive from camp Nino airport, reception was outstanding ,very specific of times, events and any offers in the area, very knowledgable and interested in our needs. Everyone we met in the building were very nice too,the building is kept clean and there are plenty of cameras keeping an eye out for many unwanted guests. Lovely c lean rooms and a shared kitchen on the ground floor.Wheter you to choose to relax and mingle or use the hoisted as a place to return to at the end of the day. We had a lovely time there plus breakfast is 7 euros and more than enough food tastes to cover A big Thankyou to everyone there Vicky and Baz East Yorkshire

Just got back from a family holiday (2 adults, 2 teens) staying at The Rome Hello. Absolutely great place to stay. Front of House staff and Housekeeping team are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, with teenager essentials like USB charger for each bed. Inclusive breakfast at the attched Bar (Tylers) is a good selection.

It was an extended weekend family trip, so this hotel was a good fit since it was not all that far away from some interesting things, and it was priced reasonably. The room was spacious, with a plain design making it a little ugly, but it was clean and well cared for. Our view was of the apartments in the opposite buildings, but we got our views elsewhere. The bathroom was OK even if the shower doors did not close properly. They cleaned the room daily and left fresh towels, even if we did not ask for. What was really bad was the soap/shampoo that they offered. Not that it smelled bad or anything but it reminded me of the soaps hotels had in the 80s The common are was almost always busy, but the people were respectful and friendly, and left the place clean. The wifi was fast, even when using VPN like I did. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of choices and interesting flavors. But the coffee was really bad. You do not expect that in Italy, but it was from an automatic machine that made different kind of coffees, so the result was bad. The people that worked there were always smiling, were friendly and eager to help, which is something that always helps when you are staying in a foreign country. The hotel is next to a police station and the immediate area felt safe, even at night. There are homeless people close by but they never bothered us. There is also a metro station within walking distance. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and it is a great choice for a brief family vacation

We weren't sure what to expect staying at a hostel but this place was amazing. The room was great and clean, and there was lots going on in the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great both for breakfast and for dinner.

A great hotel / hostel in the centre of Rome. Located a few minutes walk from Termini and most of the main sites are within 20 minutes walk. A good breakfast set us up for the day in the integrated bar where we ended each day with a deserved cold beer..... The hotel is modern, rooms big, beds comfortable and I couldn't fault it. Staff were friendly, multi lingual and helpful, including providing a handy map of Rome that beat the guide book. Definitely deserves its trip advisor rating.

This was my very first hostel during my very first solo trip and it did not disappoint! I stayed in a 4 person mixed dorm that was super comfortable and clean! Common areas are great, lots of activities. I did not book any complimentary breakfast but when I decided to try it one day it was no problem at all. For 7 euros you get a great hotel style breakfast. Location is also perfect, close to the station and major attractions. Also close to public transportation. Definitely would recommend!
