This was a disappointment. While the hotel is superbly located and has modern facilities there were many key details that disappointed us given the reputation of the hotel and the money we were paying. We were met very defensively and quite unprofessionally at check-in when the receptionist confirmed the room we had specified we wanted as a couple, with a double bed, wasn't available for Valentine's Day weekend and that we would have two single beds instead. While this is a first-world problem, sure, the attitude of the receptionist who said this was out of her control and we should book with the hotel direct and not via Booking.com felt problematic. Then the beds were very uncomfortable giving me a bad back problem the whole next day. When I asked for extra pillows, reception said they would come within 30mins (this was already fairly late at night, at around ten-thirty) and it took them until midnight to arrange for a member of staff to find an extra pillow. I offered to come down to reception to grab them myself, but they said there was no one available to help and they were short-staffed. Felt a bit chaotic and like the whole customer service was lacking. I give it 3 stars because the dinner and breakfast were good and because of the location and the furnishings, but the staff do need to think a bit more carefully about how they greet guests, especially a couple who pay 200 euros and are treated quite aggressively at check in.

I took my daughter to madrid in July 2020 for her 21st birthday and it was one of the best trips ever. The staff at the Vincci Soho were great. The GM ensured that we got a room with juliet balconys that looked out onto the street. The room was large and beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also large with bath and shower. Due to the pandemic most of the facilities at the hotel were closed unfortunately so we didnt get to really experience the hotel itself. The hotel is perfectly located with a minute walk to Plaza Santa Ana with some of the best restaurants. Its also only a 5 minute walk to Antõn Martin tube station. Whether shopping or eating out, everything is within easy reach.

Our room was spacious and quiet, and the general attention given by by the hotel staff was excellent. We commend the front desk staff, as well as Patricia (dining room) for being so helpful. We will definitely stay at Vinci Soho when traveling to Madrid in the future.

Everything as expected, easy access parking, well located to see lots of the city. Staff helpful on arrival and were happy for us to leave car in parking despite having checked out. Clean and nicely sized room. Bed was lovely.

The hotel is well done out, and well presented with lovely air conditioned rooms. Located in a good area of the city, not too far from the main area by the Cathedral and the Palace. The bar area was spacious and service was good, overall a nice hotel. Sadly we arrived too late to get the opportunity to try the restaurant.
