This hotel is in the middle of everything, yet it is not noisy. The lobby is pretty and cozy. Reception staff was professional and nice, always ready to help. We had a suite which looked as it was just refurbished. It was large, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again; looking forward to.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to the people of Madrid with the highest hopes that they along with the rest of world return to health, safety and happiness. We stayed at CPDS in February on our way back to New York before the extent of the corona virus was evident throughout Europe and the US. We booked a suite (104) which was outstanding value for the price. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable and suite was fastidiously clean. Excellent location, room service offerings are modest but were delivered in 15 minutes on both occasions. Minibar charge was miscalculated on checkout but person at front desk corrected their own error and advised us before we noticed it and credited us correctly. Suite 104 is on the first floor overlooking the street and we did not hear a sound during our three night stay. Generous complimentary bottled water, excellent towels, hangers, overall well equipped room. Sitting room of suite is not windowed but comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. We love Madrid and will undoubtedly return when circumstances allow. We would not hesitate to stay again at CPDS as we had a very excellent experience.

We had a great experience and an awesome stay, even though it was cut short because of COVID-19. We had 2 suites and they were very spacious and welcoming. The staff was very kind and accommodating, especially Diana and Aron that helped us when our flight was cancelled and our plans had to change. The extra treats that were supplied to the room free of charge really helped keep our spirits up in this hard time. Also, the hotel is located in the center of everything!

Stayed here 17-21st February with my two kids during half term in a triple room on the first floor. Easy to get to from the airport using the metro system and much cheaper. Journey took 50 minutes. The building is stunning and the staff really helpful and friendly. Location is key here as we were able to walk to all the attractions. Room was very clean and preferred the wooden floors to carpet floors as it feels cleaner. We had three single beds and the size was adequate. Slept well on all four nights. The only negative I would say is the frosted bathroom door which does not have a lock and so leaves a very slim gap. Even with my 19 and 14 year old kids I felt we needed privacy. Seeing more and more of this in hotels but am not a fan. Was offered a reduced rate for breakfast at €14 each but felt it was still pricey as there are plenty of cheaper options right outside the hotel. The complimentary snacks in the evening between 5-8pm was also nice. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Big, comfortable rooms in a lovely building. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. In an excellent location. The afternoon tea and cake is a welcome bonus in the quiet space away from the bustle of Madrid.
