I had surgery and had to rest for 16 days there. They let us do early check in and gave us a late check out (we booked through their website, it has benefits). It is 5 minutes walk to puerta del sol, close to subway and train station. Don't miss their brunch on weekends, great food, good drinks, excellent music and beautiful view of the Palacio Real. Must be one of Madrid's secrets. All the staff from reception to the cleaning ladies were really accommodating to our requests and had great attitude. The breakfast didn't seem like much, but it had everything we needed. PS if you like art this place has a lot to offer, also has a car museum.

While every single person in Madrid, hotel staff or others, we dealt with was amazingly friendly and kind, the reception staff of this place gets the first prize. In addition to being knowledgeable, professional and warm, they also had a great sense of humor making us laugh each time we asked a question, or when we told them that we made espresso a few times before realizing that it was not free. The place is right behind (or side) of the royal palace. There are many other attractions nearby. Prado is a bit away. That did not bother us but if you are not into walking that far, you may need transportation; train station is close by. The place was impeccably clean. We visited pre-covid but if we could go now, we would not be concerned. Can’t wait to go back!

The hotel dealt with my bookings which were affected by the covid situation in a very professional, caring and understanding manner. Pedro in particular was very prompt in responding to my queries. Overall top class service once again from this excellent hotel. I look forward to coming back here when things have normalised. Thank you!

Dear Sydsolo, We thank you for your kind comments about our Reservation Service and staff, specially under this circumstances that are being so difficult worldwide for everyone. Our hotel has been open even during the state of alarm in Spain providing accommodation to the people that needed it. We have also been very flexible with our future clients and we have tried to update our clients on the new regulations, help them and solve any type of doubt that they may have before coming to Madrid. It is a great satisfaction to learn thanks to your review, that our effort is being appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you as soon as things get back to normal and we can travel again as we use to. In the meantime, please keep safe and healthy. Best regards,

This review is long overdue. My family of 6 (4 teenagers) stayed in 2 suites over the Christmas holidays. We had a great time. Staff, especially the ladies, were very warm and approachable and at the same time efficient and professional. The rooms were very spacious, and they even gave us a free upgrade on one of the suites. Location is very close to the Royal Palace. We were also able to walk easily to the Plaza Mayor area and other tourist sites. Highly recommend for families.
