Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Our room was right on the corner of all the action. Above Stella McCartney store. Had a balcony and large windows. Very comfortable, nice amenities . There was not a bar but plenty in neighborhood. You can hear the rumble of the subway but it's not a huge problem. The windows

This was my 4th time (2nd in the last month) to stay in this hotel and have yet to be disappointed by it. Great value for money, centrally located, tube station 39 seconds walk, large rooms and extremely clean. I’ll be back.

We we delayed one night in Barcelona. Were were very fortunate to secure a room at this lovely little boutique hotel! We were pleasantly greeted and our hotel room was well appointed. Would definitely recommend!

I was pleasently surprised when I opened the room door. Big room, modern, clean, with a small balcony also! I had read the reviews and seen the pictures, but i was still a bit sceptical about the hotel since it was reasonably priced for the location (EUR90/night) and a 3 star.

Sorry but is don’t know the distance to the cruise port. I would suggest downloading the “mytaxi” app. It is very easy to use, less expensive than the normal taxi, and they normally arrive within minutes. The app will show you how many minutes until arrival. Good luck

I totally agree with Mario O and Carlos 197, this hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona. The area is filled with shops, restaurants and a lot of people. I don't know if an interior room will solve the noise. But it's a fabulous hotel in the best location.

Is this a pet friendly hotel?
I did not see any pets when I was staying there so I would say that it is not but I would check with the hotel.

"Side or back rooms would have less noise from trafic"
"Ask for room facing the street for more light and windows. Ours was at back of hotel, which was very quiet, but darker, less sunlight."
