I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, Hotel Rec was great! I would highly recommend that others stay here and would consider staying here again if I were to return! The rooms were comfortable and clean, staff was helpful, and the restaurant Fismuler was delicious!

The place has a youthful hip vibe, and while my husband and I are not too youthful, not too hip, this hotel suited our needs perfectly. Comfortable beds. Enough space to lounge around the room. Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling for your own playlists. Relatively...More

Wow, thank you so much for your amazing review!!!
We are so happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us and that our staff made you feel welcome. This is our goal, to make our guests feel at home :)
It's fine offering nice extras but only if the basics are right. The Rec misses the mark in this respect.
It's a well located, stylish, trendy, modern hotel with a great breakfast buffet on the roof terrace, free beer tasting and cocktail making evenings.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Most of the great reviews are because of the staff, which I agree with 100%. They are friendly, helpful, welcoming and super nice. And here's the thing - it's every single one of them, no matter...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
