The Corner Hotel is located in the Eixample, one of Barcelona's most traditional neighborhoods, founded in the 19th century in response to the urban and industrial growth of a city that's been keen on keeping its history intact. The Hotel is the result of the extensive renovation of one of the Eixample's most representative structures. Somber and elegant, it has maintained the stylistic hallmarks of centuries past, while beyond its façade, the interior showcases a modern, convenient, and comfortable atmosphere whose décor pays homage to the city's industrial tradition. The Corner combines fine materials with contemporary elements to achieve a cosmopolitan design that captures the essence of the city, and reaches the guest in every corner. It is a functional, cozy, and friendly space in which to relax after a long day of shopping, museums, terraces or business dealings, and it's all... just around the Corner.

Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

We recommend this hotel. The best of it: the nice decoration and atmosphere in the lobby. Correct service. Good breakfast with excellent local food...and that's all...why have I to write 200 characters minimum?...sometimes less is more!

I travel to Barcelona often and have experienced multiple 2, 3 and 4 star properties and this is by far the best, in particular considering the room rates. Staff is absolutely 5* from reception to bartenders, friendly, open, professional. I had one of the corner rooms, which

Nice ambience, v friendly staff, good decor. Some may find main course options on dinner menu slightly limited but there are plenty of options nearby to eat at if that's the case. Would recommend this hotel. And for some stupid reason Trip advisor wants at least 200 characters

We always recommed to have dinner here at least once for enjoying a delicious dinner with live music by the hand of artists like Cece Gianotti, but it´s true that our charming neighbourhood is plenty of wonderful restaurants that worth enjoying. It is a nice functional hotel, kind of copy of Ace hotel in London. I made a simple room service order after a very long and exhausting day of work, but they were not able to deliver to the right room and I have to wait 1 hour for a salad and bread. I had to call 3 times and it

Hi Mark, I'm not familiar with Eurobus. I want to say the is an Aerobus stop near the hotel; certainly in the district. I was there with a small group, so we took a cab from the airport. There rain station is quite good as well, but yes, from the airport, probably not first choice. Best to shoot the hotel a quick email re: bus options. They are quite knowledgeable and I found very helpful in creating solutions. Hope this helps, and enjoy Barcelona!! Cheers Ron

Dear connie g! Greetings from The Corner Hotel! We can arrange transfers from 70€/ride. Other options are: -Taxi: It will cost you around 35€. It usually takes around 30 minutes or less to get to the hotel. Both terminals are plenty of taxis. This is our recommended option. - Aerobus: A1 or A2, depending on the terminal that you are landing on. The cost is 5,90€ per person and it takes around 35 minutes to the city. You will have to walk around 15 more minutes from the nearest stop to the Hotel, which is Universitat square. -Metro: It takes longer and you will have to change between lines (L9 to Collblanc and then L5 to Hospital Clinic). If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact directly us. Have a great day :) The Corner Hotel
