The hotel is centrally located in Burgos and secure underground parking is offered at 13 euros per day. You need to park and get the remote "zapper" from reception to open the gate. The hotel was very clean and receptionist were very helpful with local maps etc. to get you started on exploring Burgos. The room was very clean, maybe slightly old school but nevertheless very comfortable and everything worked. Typical continental breakfast with a huge choice of fresh meats, cheeses, breads, croissants etc etc. We wish we had more time to explore the town so arrive early and give yourself the time, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Only a five minute trip north of town. Large spread out hotel. I arrived at 9.30am and was advised check in is from 2pm.(hotel policy) which I totally understand and accept. They looked after my suitcase for me. I ended up checking in at 1pm. My twin delux room was modern, large with polished flooring (which can be slippery) and polished timber furniture (vanity table, chair, shelving unit, with hangers,table/2 chairs etc). Aircon was fairly quiet and worked well as did the TV and fridge. The bathroom was tiled floor to ceiling. The shower was a separate enclosed unit. Hot water was good as was the water pressure.. The one thing that surprised me, given the room rates, soap and shampoo sachets were provided but no toothbrush/paste. Something many cheaper hotels/guest houses provide. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu. The staff attentive and well trained. I tried the spaghetti carbonara which was a big serving but I doubt the chef has ever been shown how to make it. The veggie spring rolls were good, all 8 of them. Even though my Agoda booking did not include breakfast, reception phoned me and offered me complimentary breakfast which I was appreciative. The reception staff were also well trained. The pool is very large and clean which was great as the beach was far from inviting with trash scattered everywhere. There was even a lifeguard watching over the young ones in the kiddies pool. I experienced a few power failures but they were usually only for a few seconds. My phone data was occasionally slow. Overall, this hotel is certainly pricier but you get what you pay for, that is, a clean, comfortable room, everything works well, comfortable facilities and impeccable customer service. If you can afford it, enjoy that luxury feeling.

Stayed here for one night as part of a group booking. Check in for the group was very efficient. This is a traditional style hotel and that is very much part of its charm. The bedroom is accessed using a proper key as is the safe. The bedroom and bathroom had all the facilities required. We had a room at the front of the hotel and despite the shutter there was some noise from outside during the night. Breakfast was outstanding, an excellent selection of fresh fruit, meat, cheese and bread, there was an apple tart for breakfast that is not to be missed. The dining room is a lovely bright room with an unusual mix of tables. The lady looking after guests was very helpful. The hotel is in a central location, reception can provide a map of the area. Turning left out of the hotel it is a flat ten minute walk to the Cathedral.

Stopped here en route to Bilbao, if you're driving here then be aware that the parking is underground and accessed from the middle of the road. You need to go to the hotel to get access. Hotel was pleasant and we had a HUGE room with three double beds!?. Well situated with lots of restaurants near at hand. Pleasant staff, would use again.
