We spent one night at this hotel and occupied two adjoining premium rooms. I don't think we will return to this hotel the next time we visit Burgos. Let's start with the positive points: the staff, the location, the breakfast, the characteristic perfume in the lobby. As for the disappointing/surprising points: A global advanced state of wear and tear (knocks, marks, stains), a surprisingly noisy lift with a warped cabin, a postage stamp-sized television, a sloping washbasin where water stagnates, a composite bathtub that makes worrying cracking noises, missing soap, the air temperature in the corridors is far too high... The main fault remains the capacity of the car park which is ridiculous. The hotel does not reserve the parking spaces, which allows it by refusing to cancel rooms after 6pm not to lose clients who would not be lucky enough to arrive early enough to have a space in the garage located in the basement. we arrived at 8pm and this was our case. The most surprising thing was the impossibility to reach the reception by phone on the two numbers provided. About ten calls made by two different phones during more than an hour were all picked up automatically, nobody answered but we could hear the background noise of the reception. When we arrived, the reception noticed the problem, expressed its surprise but did nothing to correct the problem at the time. Strange... We definitely expect more from a 4 stars hotel.…

The Good: Terrific location for enjoying Burgos on foot. Very generous breakfast. Efficient Front Desk Comfortable beds. The So-So: Our room was hot - no AC and I have no idea where the ventilation is getting its cooling from, but it doesn't work. PAPER cups in the bathroom that AREN'T replaced each day. Their terrazzo on the roof has an amazing view but the chairs are uncomfortable and the staff rather surly. Our stay was okay but the hotel puts on "airs" it is not meeting.

We needed somewhere to stay as a group of 5 with our disabled brother. The booking was cancelled twice due to covid but this year we made it. The rooms were just as requested. The staff were all really helpful and the breakfast was very good indeed, add to this the hotel has a nice bar on the top floor. The hotel parking is very tight and we were advised to park underneath the museum on the other side of the river. Easy access even for 9 seat minibus and under E11 overnight. Only a few minutes (3-4) walk across the bridge.

I was in town with my daughter for a sporting competition. Having to stay in a different hotel to her due to Covid rules, I choose the Gran Teatro due to location. It is river side, and I had a deluxe double with an excellent view. The room was spacious and clean with good linen a tip top shower. So far so good. A few small things, there was no moisturiser with the toiletries, something I normally rely on. Breakfast was an excellent spread, but had been laid out without warming, so cooked items, eggs and bacon, where very cold. The restaurant wasn't open on the Friday evening, but there are plenty of options nearby. The major issue was with the parking. It is gated, which is good, but you have to press a buzzer to get reception to open it. I tried for a few minutes before having to maneuver backwards to exit the car and go into reception. It is a *very* tight drive down to the parking. Worse was getting out. Again, the gate isn't automatic, and no one responded to the buzzer. There was a phone number for the reception desk, but it took three tries before it was answered and the gate opened.…

The location is perfect for wandering around Burgos on foot. And we stayed for 2 nights. Opted for a deluxe double room with views over the Arlanzon river. Room was really spacious with a good sized bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the wifi was good. Hotel has onsite parking which was a big plus for us. Front desk was efficient and helpful if we needed any assistance. The rooftop bar was not open, not sure if it was COVID or weather related but I can imagine drinks up here, with the view would be a big plus. Would definitely return and it was excellent value for money.

Lovely modern hotel with large comfortable rooms. Quiet and clean. The staff are excellent and above all the price was really good value. Within a few minutes walk you are in the centre of town with lots of plazas with bars and restaurants. Will certainly back again.

The location is great. Easy to find, underground parking, walking distance to the city centre, the cathedral, riverbank, etc. Clean, comfortable and big room. We had view over Arlanzon River which was great to see.

Less than 10 min walk to the cathedral and other famous sites. Breakfast choices were good and fresh. Room was a little cramped. Didn’t really have space to place my suitcase. Gym was ok, the elliptical legs are loose. Parking of the hotel is very tight but was told by the receptionist. All in all, good value. Some minor adjustments would earn a 5.
