I'm giving them 5 stars just because there's no option of giving them 10! The entire experience from check-in to check-out was super super! I rented a villa which has an inside sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi on the deck overseeing the Ocean. The view from the deck was breathtaking! The Staff were phenomenal. they brought us locally grown exotic fruits, prepared the beds for the evening. Any issue we had they were there within minutes to correct. The tropical garden is something hard to decribe. Its evident that a lot ow work and planning was put into it. My Wife and I took an evening stroll through the garden, we felt like were in Aruba... They also own a private beach with stunning views.

We had a chance to go to Puente Romano towards the end of our summer break! And what a way to end the holidays. Beautiful property, dreamy lush gardens and alleys, top notch facilities, and world class restaurants! I particularly enjoyed Chiringuito plaza, from the decoration to the service to the food and the vibe! Some of the best seafood in town- Roual prawns are a must try! this is the place to spend time in Marbella and feel you don’t need to go anywhere else! Great experience overall!

Our stay didn’t start in a positive way as we arrived late around 8:45PM and the valet parking at Nobu refused the parking area, despite us approaching their reception on a couple of occasions. This has caused further car parking issues. However, due to the dedication, professionalism and high level of customer service of Ms Amanda Gil Benitez, the Duty Manager, and her team (Ms Magdalena), all was resolved and we will have very nice memories from our stay. Rooms (we had a suite at Estepona building) are immaculate, breakfast offered at Sea Grill restaurant at the Golden Mile is superb and truly memorable. So were the dinners; we tried Coya, BIBO, La Plaza and Nobu in the evenings, Rachel’s Eco and Lagom Cafe at the Tennis Club throughout the day. Wide selection of heated pools and all sorts of sport activities. Moreover, we were particularly impressed by the exceptional level of customer service demonstrated by Ms Amanda, her attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond. Thank you for the enjoyable experience and we look forward to returning in the future.

A lovely resort hotel that is sadly rather out dated and badly in need of up grading . Whilst our suite was facing the sea with a magnificent view , the rooms themselves left bit to be desired . In particular the bathroom is sadly outdated and given the space , this could be a magnificent feature to the suites . The shower leaked a vast amount of water making the floor very dangerous and the spa bath gurgled out brown grubby fluid making it unusable . the walls are a grubby yellow colour with what appears to be chewing gum covering holes - the one right next to the toilet was rather distracting and kinda revolting . The room is very poorly laid out with the bed facing the entry door . The furniture relies heavily on rope and is all very heavy and clumsy - the bed was unsteady also! dining - very poor staffing at breakfast - almost chaotic - almost impossible to get a coffee without going to the coffee stance . The feeling of being ignored was unsettling . Restaurants did not appear to be taking mid week bookings - perhaps too off season . This is a magnificent setting for a hotel - but in general the environment requires updating and the staffing looked at as they appear rather surly and in all honesty not paying any attention . the grounds are lush - but look out for some very rancid smelly channels running dow tot he beach ! We of course paid the rate for a suite at this time of year, to have paid the summer price would have been beyond reasonable as the rooms and service do not match the 5 star prices .

Laura and the entire Guest Services VIP team were amazing!! Everything we requested was accommodated and the response time was super quick and easy through whatsapp. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had and the history of the ancient Roman bridge cannot be beaten! I hope to visit again soon and won’t even consider staying at a different resort.

We had a great experience at Puente Romano Marbella. It's the second time we go looking for some relax and quality time in family. This time the resort was fully booked and nights were a little bit more noisy than our previous time, making reservations at the restaurants was a bit more complicated too. Even that, Puente Romano is an excellent destination for families and couples or a group of friends. It's a place to have fun and enjoy the nice weather of the Costa del Sol. I would recomend this place 100 times!

Puente Romano is a unique place in south of Spain that achieves a difficult balance of maximum convenience and comfort without a trace of the annoying "resort feel". The level of service is the absolute best, this time around a special thank you has to go to Laura, who made sure our stay was just entirely seamless, even though we were visiting with our small dog (puppy toy poodle). The selection of restaurants here will keep you entertained for weeks with lunch spots like Rachel's Eco Love, Sea Grill or Chiringuito and the upbeat atmosphere around the La Plaza for dinners. Rooms are spacious and are located in tons of smaller Andalusian style houses scattered around Puente Romano. They have comfortable beds, nice terraces and all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a 5*. You should also have no worries visiting in the "quiet months", there's no off switch in Puente Romano or Marbella as a destination, to be honest. If you do decide you want to try some of the other places around the city (our recommendation goes to Nintai), Puente Romano is perfectly located on the Golden Mile. Just hope they won't get so popular and sold out that it'll be impossible to get a room and we can visit again soon :)
