What a dump. I arrived in time, the reception was open, they refused to check me in. I had to come back two hours later. I came back, the reception was closed, I had to check in on a computer in a smoking hot tiny space in between two doors. I had to give all the details of my life they already had through my booking, which was fully payed beforehand by the way. I did not get a room number or an entry code in the mail then. I got an invoice. I had to call an "emergency number". The first thing they did there was hang up on me. I called AGAIN, they couldn't give of a room number, I had to wait AGAIN. When I finally got into my room, there were hairs in the basin and shower. Never ever again.
As with most hotels in the B&B chain, you don't come here for the unique and colorful "ye olde worlde" experience. But it is an absolutely fine place to stay if you're in transit (as we were) or in need of a less expensive room. We walked to the hotel from the train station - took about 15 minutes. The location is actually near the middle of this small historic town and all sights are within another 15-20 minutes walking distance, but as you approach, it feels like it's right at the junction of a busy highway. Two big roads near the hotel and the railway line. Has a real motel vibe actually and lots of carparks...highly recommended if you're driving through, we would assume. Room was functional and staff were friendly. A lot of things are automated, including a snack and drink machine in the lobby and automated check in and door keypads, but everything appeared well maintained. At one stage, we lost/forgot our room code and the lady we had to call later at night (after reception closed) was very sweet and helpful despite it being our mistake. Room was small and basic with modern decor. Very clean, comfortable enough and we had no problems with hot water or anything else. Left for the early train and didn't experience breakfast. Would say that, like many other B&B hotels in Deutschland, this is a great place for a quick stop. If you're wanting to experience Koblenz, a cute historical town, for longer or sample German culture, you'll be better off elsewhere.…
Hotel is in a good location to shops, restaurants and water front. It is no frills and basic but it was perfect for a transition night. Very clean but don’t expect “cozy”. Parking on site so that was nice.
This was my first experience in any B&B Hotel ! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is sufficient but it starts too late in the weekends as i need to travel early. Due to the marathon in town the hotel was fully booked and that created lines for breakfast and at check-in time. The self service check-in machine is wrongly placed because many guests need to pass through that narrow entrance. Please move it !
We booked a room for three people and it had a double and a single bed. The bathroom was good with quick hot water. Breakfast was standard but good. From the hotel to the city center was just a five minute walk.
Really close to the city centre. Housekeeping excellent, everything very clean. Breakfast was great, but as I am lactose intolerant, no alternative was on offer. Easy to walk into town and handy for public transport, both bus and train. Ample parking adjacent to the hotel.
Excellent cost-benefit ratio. Standard B&B layout provides good space and comfort, including aucustic isolation. Strategical localization: 5-10 min. walking to city railway station or to Mosel river, 10-20 min. to Rhein river and main touristic sites of Koblenz.
Very nice hotel, easy accessible from the highway A61. Very good service: we had to clear our rental car, the hotel provided us a bucket and some cleaning cloths. Perfect hotel to stay for one night if you have to travel long distances.
Everything from helpful friendly staff, location, to clean rooms. Bunk beds were comfortable and a winner for the kids. Room was small but well planned. Cool quiet aircon! The only thing was that we were at the last room down the corridor and the wifi was weak. But once you walk towards the lift wifi was working great. Great stay would do again.
Nice hotel, close to the center. the staff is super nice and very helpfull. they brought us a teakettle to our room when we asked about the possibilities to make tea. the breakfast is huge, super tastte. the price / quality ratio is very good.
