This hotel was wonderful. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist with a big smile who said, 'come into the courtyard for a glass of bubbly and we will get you checked in there'. It was delightful with vines growing overhead and beautiful rustic architecture. The hotel room was modern and comfortable and there was a good powerful shower in the en-suite. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful - you can tell at every turn that the guest experience is really important to them. The hotel restaurant is so charming and the food of an excellent standard, and with live music when we were there. The area is so beautiful and the medieval architecture of the hotel and surrounding town is very quaint and pretty. We will return again to explore more of this area and will definitely stay in this hotel again. Sinclair and Berthold…
We had a good stay for two nights. The service was very good and everyone very friendly. Location is great. However, the room itself felt small and basic in relation to the price. Pro: - very central location - great and friendly service - cooled wine bottles can be bought at cellar price (great to walk to the river and have a glass) Con: - room was rather small and basic equipped for 149 eur a night. Highly recommended if you like to have food at your hotel or for short stays. For longer stays I would opt for larger and potentially cheaper rooms.
This is such a nice boutique hotel in the middle of Rüdesheim with a lovely beer garden where you can have breakfast, drinks or a meal. The room was light, clean and comfortable. Notice, the hotel has a small car park offering free parking. We will come again.
Were there with group of 18 people. We got a kind of German tapas, so called local dishes. Unfriendly staff, expensive low quality wine, a mix of dishes which didn't fit and tasted very bad. It was even difficult to find out what where eating. A vegetarian guest treated unfriendly and didn't get anything. We had to wait more than an hour for our second dish. on top was the dessert bad. The bad band was noisy and disturbing. This is a tourist trap. Shame on you for the price you charged.
If you are hoping to explore the middle Rhine, Breuer’s is an excellent place to stay. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the buffet breakfast is delicious, and the staff very pleasant and helpful. They welcome guests with a complimentary glass of their delicious sparkling wine upon check-in and encourage you to leisurely drink it in their beautiful courtyard while filling out the required check in form. Parking is free and located at the hotel. We were able to use one of their free rental bikes that they have available and they helped us find a location to rent another one. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of fresh offerings as well as a made to order egg station and more of their delicious sparkling wine. Overall a very pleasant stay.
It is located on the premier historical street in Rüdesheim. Food was solid, but not spectacular. Imo probably not worth the cost But you are going here for the atmosphere. They walk around giving out free shots, dancing, conga type lines, etc. But just know it’s an older crowd. I’m on my mid 30s and I was the youngest there by 15 years. But that is Rüdesheim in general Basically it is like a higher class Carlos and Charlie’s for the older crowd
More expensive ( especially the wines) than the regular restaurants in the neighbourhood but thats because of the location. Service was friendly and the quality of the food was good. Quiet busy also. Local and life music.
This is an outstanding and unique experience. For example, we walked up to the desk to check in and she said, "Go in and have a glass of champagne (complimentary) while we check you in." And we did! The hotel is a historic building which was fun. The restaurant is in the courtyard and there was lively, entertaining music in the evening. The hotel is right of the famous Drosselgasse - the main shopping street so you are right in the middle of everything from shopping to the gondola and museums. The room was clean and quiet and pretty big. I loved my stay here. If I ever come back I will stay here again for sure.
This is an amazing property. It’s a heritage building completely restored with modern rooms which are pretty big. Near from the train station and with their own parking lot. Superb restaurant and fantastic service. The courtyard is the place to be at in the nights. There is music, dancing , superb food and the great Rüdesheimer coffee! The owners are always around and are so friendly. I am so glad we stayed here and would highly recommend it.
Once again we stayed at the Schloss. As always the food, wine and room were excellent. The special ingredient is the staff who are all great. Fantastic time every night the band are brill. If you are in Rudesheim visit it you won't be disappointed.
