The rooms are small but very clean and well lit. The rooms are in individual houses set in colourful gardens. The single rooms at 71 euros per night were bargain as was the luxurious breakfast for 12 euros each. One reservation: my room was at the top of steep flight of stairs. I would have preferred a ground level room. The rooms are small but clean and well lit. The rooms are in individual houses built in gardens full of flowers. And the luxurious breakfast for 12 euros is a real bargain as rethe room

Great little place. Clean, friendly hosts and a host of facilities and welled priced. Great walks and Skilift on your doorstep. Close to city centre (5 mins drive. If that). The woods were great for families. Our six year old was happy to walk. Nice restaurant half way up the hill by the Skilift. Would stay again.

This was our second stay here after coming for the first time last year but we had such a lovely time we for sure had to return. We arrived on the 27th Sept for 5 nights myself with my partner and my sister who was over visiting from England and again what a truly wonderful stay we had here. This is a family owned & run hotel and they do it with such care and will always do their best to make sure that you enjoy your stay. On this stay we had a huge family room so that we could all share the room and the Beds are super super comfortable and we always had the best of sleeps here. We always made use of the fabulous swimming pool and always enjoyed our daily early evening swims with us also making the most of the Sauna, Heat beds and the Infrared cabin. Massages can also be booked if wanted. Breakfast was always a pleasure to look forward to each morning with a great selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, scrambled eggs, Cereals etc etc. We have to give huge praise for the most wonderful dinners cooked in the evenings, we could of easily have found other places to eat at but i promise you the home cooking here is truly delicious! Just the smell alone wafting in the air entices you to eat here and for the price you pay then there is no way can you do better. They offer daily set 3 course Menus which you can choose from or they have a menu for other non set choices. We miss your gorgeous food already and for sure we will be returning again next year. Thank you for the lovely time we had & best regards .. Fam Egenberger

The room had a real wow factor about it! Lovely lounge area, beautiful bedroom with a good sized balcony overlooking fabulous gardens. Really comfortable beds and everything spotlessly clean. The owner was so friendly and had a really good sense of humour! Wonderful breakfasts, enjoyed 3 nights here, and would hope to return.

This hotel has decent enough rooms, a small sauna, a pool, and a massage area. Breakfast is included (from 8-10 ), and they serve a limited dinner menu 6 nights a week (7-9 PM). If their menu or times don't suit you, there are a few other restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of hiking here, and it's in a good location if you're doing a Black Forest tour. Lots of parking in the back. The staff is friendly enough.

We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay throughout .. The staff is very friendly and gave us a lot of local information on hike routes etc. Room was clean with spacious balcony and comfy beds... The sauna and pool makes your stay even more relaxing .. Parking isn't an issue and breakfast is sumptuous.. Would stay again.

stayed here for one night, and like many German Family hotels, it was clean and comfortable and functionable but nothing swanky. Nice health suite with an indoor pool, sauna, steam and massage area. Dine and breakfast were ok, staff very pleasant. Great for a one night stopover.
