There is a small garden with seating at the front and a parking garage, it even has a swimming pool and sauna (a fact which seemed to be a bit hidden in their website).
There was a great choice at breakfast and very friendly service
It's possible to walk into Freudenstadt from the hotel and it's worth seeing the nice town square with a good selection of restaurants.
We had a limited menu however it was very good with fresh salmon for starts and pasta with pork. The breakfast was very good with lovely bread.
The only downside for me was that it has no bar area we could find so after you evening meal you can either sit outside, it was cold, or go back to your room.
We would stay again.
The underground parking is OK but do not place anything on the ground as it is filthy and you will get it covered in dust, it needs a good clean. The rooms are large and the beds OK and the breakfast has everything you could want including bacon and scrambled egg. The closure of the restaurant, it still has beer available, is now however a big drawback. It is 1.1 miles to the closest restaurant in town, an good Italian on the left hand side, also with no supermarkets nearby you cannot "pop out" for crisps etc, OK if it is not raining but a pain in the hot summer.
We will not stay again due to the restaurant closure.
