We stayed 2 nights at this property. Although the rooms seem a little dated but it was charming nonetheless and the bed was comfortable. The heating was fantastic. The view from the balcony was also fabulous. The hotel's restaurant served excellent dinner and breakfast. Very homely cooking and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Baiersbronn in future!

Our room (category Stöckerkopf / Rinkenkopf) was quite large with very comfy big twin beds. The setup of the bed was somewhat impractical though. The bed was positioned in a corner, diagonal in the room. There was also a sofa bed that was put very close to the bed. The position of the bed could be much improved, IMO. Bathroom was small but with a good shower. There wasn't much light, unfortunately. The location of the hotel is very quiet. Breakfast was good and extensive. The food in general was very good. We ate dinner from their à la carte menu and from their half board menu on one night. WiFi was unstable.

Wonderful place, central, has a quiet and very clean pool, the food is great (albeit a little pricey), the breakfast was the best we’d had in Europe so far, and the room felt luxurious. The only gripe we had was the manager (owner?) who we felt was quite abrupt with us. But perhaps this was just a language barrier as his English wasn’t the best. However overall, we had a great stay and would go back again.

We just went inside for a coffee, as they were not prepared for customers yet (for food, it seemed), we got a nice place and really good coffee! We are staying in Freudenstadt so it is nice to have tried out coffee in Baiersbronn.

Baiersbronn is a good place for a walking holiday and the Hirsh is a good value hotel. The hotel is a little way up the hill from the main street on a quiet road. We were met with a complimentary welcome drink while we registered and then shown to our room. We had a balcony room with 2 loungers and 2 chairs. The rooms were spacious and well kept bathroom modern and tidy. We took the half board option which was quite good they made an effort to produce a good range of dishes. The breakfasts were fine German style buffet breakfasts with freshly boiled eggs. In the afternoon there is complimentary cakes. They have their own parking which is useful and a nice sized heated pool. The only downside was the internet which was a fiddle to connect to and only 0.5 mbit not really enough for the modern connected world. On the whole though I would stay here again
