We had appointments at the Oncopole in Toulouse and booked at the Mecure Toulouse Sud. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Oncolpole. We arrived late morning much too early to check in but were offered a coffee in the lounge. After our appt we came back and our room was available an hour before official check-in. The lobby, lounge and breakfast area are immaculate.
We reserved a room that had bathrobes, slippers and a Nepresso machine. The room was well appointed, a large shower and plenty of counter space.
There is a bar and breakfast area but no restaurant, so if you don’t have a car you’ll need to take a taxi to eat on the weekend. There is a restaurant right next door but it’s closed Friday night, and all of Saturday and Sunday.
The buffet breakfast was quite good with a selection of meats, cheeses, eggs, fruit and various bread & pastries. There are coffee machines and a lovely selection of bespoke teas with teapots.
There is a selection of mini meals available for lunch or dinner if you’d rather not leave the hotel.
The staff went out of their way to make you feel special from Wafa who assisted with breakfast to the gal at the front desk who offered us water for our drive home.
The hotel is also located a 3 minute walk from the téléphérique a cable car that links to Rangueil Hospital and Paul Sabatier university campus. There is very good bus service available right outside the hotel grounds. Although a bit away from the center of Toulouse it is definitely a very good choice for being south of the city.

Traveling on business. The property had everything I needed: very nice breakfast, restaurant close by, excellent staff. The desk was open all night which was great for early morning flights. The fitness room was less than expected, but I was clean.

The hotel is in the Süd area of Toulouse. It is located next to the Oncopole Cancer Research Centre and also close to same worldwde companies. So you have to choose that hotel if you want to visit one of these companies. Otherwise it is far away from the ciy center, not destination for tourists. the hotel modern, have friendly front desk, a good breakfast buffet. If they call the taxi it takes 10 to 20 minutes according to the traffic jam, so be aware if you have a flight to catch. the taxi cost is around 27 € to the airport. And appr. 22-25 € to the city center. If you do not want to hear the frogs singing in the nicgt prefer a room in the front side. but it did not bother me, only my colleague did complain about it.

The hotel was nice with everything you can expect from a Mercure. The room was simple and had all amenities as you would expect. The design is a bit specific but I found it nice.
Location is convenient if you plan on using the cable car which is basically on the other side of the street (little highlight of the stay)
Food options inside the hotel were not great and it was best to eat in the restaurant just outside (but it is a bit expensive)

We've been to Quality hotel Toulouse Sud for three nights last week -Easter-. It was a very nice stay, the hotel is brand new and the staff very helpful. Breakfast with really good products. Very convenient if you don't mind being in the outskirts of the city and don't want to worry about parking.

Air con in this hotel has a real problem : extremely noisy all night (loud pump starting from time to time). The thermostat, of a dark age, can't help.
And you can't open the window to shut down air con: concert of frogs around the hotel is even louder (true story !).
Next morinng, not a surprise for the staff, friendly though. And compensation proposed for insomnia was very disappointing.
So either you check that you are given a room with no pump (there are) or you stay away from this hotel if you want to sleep.

La localisation de notre hôtel au cœur d'un espace vert protégé peut en effet compter quelques inconvénients comme le chant des grenouilles quelques jours à la saison des amours mais, nous devons composer avec cette nature que nous souhaitons préserver aux portes des villes. La climatisation de votre chambre à fait l'objet d'une révision car la satisfaction de nos clients est notre priorité et nous regrettons sincèrement le bruit dérangeant. The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are modern and spacious and the photos from the hotel do not embellish. They are very quiet - there is no noise from outside the building. The breakfast buffet spread is very good and lacks almost nothing. There is plenty of parking just outside if you arrive by car. The staff speak good English and are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The WiFi is free and a good signal wherever I tried it.
The downside is the location if you are wanting to see Toulouse. There is no public transport and Toulouse traffic is dreadful. There is one restaurant next door but no others within easy walking distance.
Having said that, the next door restaurant is quite good, serving traditional French fare.
If you are on business visiting this neck of Toulouse, then this hotel is an excellent choice.
The downside is the location if you are wanting to see Toulouse. There is no public transport and Toulouse traffic is dreadful. There is one restaurant next door but no others within easy walking distance.
Having said that, the next door restaurant is quite good, serving traditional French fare.
If you are on business visiting this neck of Toulouse, then this hotel is an excellent choice.

The Hotel is great if you ave car and want to be on the outskirts apart from that go somewhere else. Room ok but when I left the room at 07.45 and got back at 18.30 it was in exactly the same state. It had not been serviced at all 3-4 * what a laugh been at 2* better than that. No restaurant in Hotel but the one next door is ok. Never staying here again.

First how did an American hotel chain come by the name "Quality Inn"? I am sure that the discussion went something like this:
-"Let's start a low cost hotel chain"
-"Good idea, but if it is poor quality then no one will come"
-"That's a difficult problem, how do we make a high quality hotel and make it low cost"
-"I know, let's call it 'Quality Inn' - problem solved"
Now roll on 2015 and this hotel is opened in France with the name "Quality Inn". Thing is, no one told the French that, in America, it is OK to lie (eg recent presidential election). This is the first quality, Quality Inn that I have ever stayed in (stayed in a few poor quality Quality Inn's in the US)...

Hotel opened just end of 2015, all new, rooms very convenient, breakfast buffet very good and friendly staff. Quiet area, still remotely located in industrial park. Can recommend the hotel especially for business trips in the area.

We do not have a restaurant inside the hotel, however there are some restaurants around at 5 minutes by walk.
French dishes "les petits plats Meunier" are available at the hotel 24/24, these dishes are steamed up.
