Young happening hotel close to Pompidou museum. Busy area full of energy. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Beautiful bar and a happening club on weekends. Very modern and classy. Priced right. Large comfortable rooms with big bathrooms. Nice all around

This hotel does not promise much from the outside, but the lobby/bar area gives you a taste of the modern minimalist decor that you will find throughout. We felt like we were in a modern art museum. The rooms are fairly large and have a lot of the decorator touches mentioned above. One warning - make sure your room has a shower that you can stand in. There are some rooms like this and the rooms with a handheld shower head will result in a mess that looks like it rained inside. Another downer. We were told that the breakfast was not included in the price, only to find after we went out for breakfast that it was. Other than this slipup, the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The location seems pretty convenient, but make sure you get good directions on walking. A wrong turn found us in an unpleasant neighborhood. We were able to walk to a very nice local square with several nice restaurants and even some live entertainment after dinner.
Parking was a challenge, but there are spots available at the hotel.

The hotel is small, the rooms clean but figure-wise little bit shapeless. My biggest problem in the hotel was using the bathroom always afraid of being seen. It looks directly, both the wc and the shower, to the building across the street. So if you like to exhibit yourself it may be a good choice.
The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is like a bar. You can ask for an omlett. Everthing is delicious. I stayed there for a business trip but it is close to the center by walking, but also close to metro. There are several mini shops where you can but your water, beverage from there. The room has a refrigerator.

This hotel is very nice. The staff is welcoming. The level of luxury is not on top, but OK compared to the price. Location is very nice. Close to almost everything. We did not have the breakfast included. The room was clean and bright. We will definitively stay there again.

I'm not really sure where to start with this...when my friend and I arrived we had to wait for over 5 minutes before anyone came to the desk. I already had a bad feeling about this hotel! The lady on duty took passport details etc and also my credit card. We explained that we'd like to use separate credit cards and she said fine, we could do all that at the end, she only needed this for insurance. No problem.
We were shown to our rooms. The shower/bathroom gimmick is a fail - everything getting soaked/no privacy. The carpet in the room was really scruffy, with lots of stains. Everything just felt dirty. No working bedside light. I had to plug my mobile phone charger in in the bathroom. The cupboard was tiny (in a huge room!) with some old hangers, and a safe I could barely reach.
We decided to exercise our right to cancel, paying for the first night only. I don't really have time to write the whole story down, but the lady at reception would not accept our decision. She told us all sorts of things including:
- the money for 4 nights had already been taken (without authorisation). This turned out to be untrue.
- the manager was on holiday and there was no one to authorise our decision. There was not a manager we could talk to.
- she basically argued without relent.
Eventually I phoned booking.com with whom I had booked. They were brilliant! - said OK straightaway but they had to phone the hotel to tell them. they did - we heard it - the lady on reception argued with them too! For about 20 minutes. However bookig.com were able to tell me it was fine.
This all took ONE AND A HALF HOURS!! By the way - during this time we did not see a single other customer! Weird? I thought so.
Wow - the next morning there was a different person on reception. She tried to start the dialogue again. We said no way, of course - basically take the money or don't, but we're leaving. She took the money.
Extraordinary. We booked into the Mercure Wilson instead which was fantastic.
I love tripadvisor and very rarely write a bad review. This one was well deserved.

I have been hosted two weeks at this "Hotel". WIFI did not work at all during the stay. The cleaning room service is unpolite and get into your room without knocking the door. The bathroom is open and with glass wall so they can get into your room while your are having a shower. As a matter of fact, my wife had a very unpleasant time because of this.
One day we woke up and the floor was flooded. Apparently it was a leak of water in the ceiling and the water dropped from the ceiling lamps. We adviced the Hotel staff about it but at the end of the day nobody came to fix it nor change our room.
As a result, next morning I slipped down the floor and hurt my hip, plus my iPhone did broke. The Hotel took my phone and sent the phone to the insurance and ONE YEAR AFTER I keep waiting for the solution!!! They won´t answer any email at all. I had to spend 600-700 EUR from a replacement.
Do yourself and your money a favour and look for another Hotel.

Well, so much for Frommer's top rated boutique hotel in Toulouse! There was no door blocking the room from the bathroom so one is always self conscious of odors, noise and visuals. Sure, the room had a safe but it wasn't bolted down! And "yes" there is wifi, that is after you move your room down to the first floor. On the upside however there's a great Irish pub across the street, and the hotel is in a good location, and, most of all, "Jessica" at the front desk is fantastic. I didn't think much of the decor but I'm not into modern/ minimalist.

lobby is fantastic, rooms are spacious and certainly designer - but so design that the seems to have forgotten certain practical things - like cupboard to hang you clothes - so they had to add ikea stand alone wardrobe - with 1 shelf and 3 clothes hangers. only 3 hangers??? what sort of travelers are they expecting?? Desk is also about as deep as my computer and no chairs in the room - you have sit on designer low soft stool instead.
Wifi was also had poor bandwidth (I was there for work) and the cable connection didn't work in my first room so had to change rooms.
So if you don't mind piling you clothes in a heap and don't need wifi and like stylish entries lobbies it's great. If you are there for work you might be better off finding a more practical and less cool place.

This was a last minute check-in as the hotel I had actually booked cancelled 4 hours before I was due to arrive! As a local I doubt the person who advised and helped me had ever stayed here! I was given a beautiful and spacious room on 3rd floor - terrace and plenty of glass. In a beautiful part of Toulouse I think it would be a good base for sight seeing. The comfortable bed was set against a large coloured glass divider (bed/bath) - words cannot adequately describe how lovely this was. The rest was quirky and probably not that comfortable - quirky/boutique!? if you're a member of PETA this is not for you - ;large skin on the floor (appeared genuine). I couldn't find electric points on surface for computer - there WAS a kettle. Electric points under one side of the bed as far as I could see. Light bulb needed replacing in bathroom, terrace door didn't shut properly and bath difficult for this 73 year old!! As others have written, to shower would be difficult without flooding the area!! No tall mirror. More expensive than I would normally pay and would not stay again probably.

As I normally do, I booked this hotel as it was the closest I could find to the venue for a concert we were attending. It was easy to find, thanks in part to friends who know the area well and gave us directions from the airport. It's about 5 minutes walk from the nearest metro station and walkable to some lovely bars and cafes.
The hotel has an art deco feel to it and was spacious inside. Check in took a while as we had to wait for someone to appear and then they seemed to take their time, all a bit too laid back really. Our room turned out not to be ready, however we could leave our luggage and went off for some lunch. On our return we got the keys to our room and eventually found the lift up to the 5th floor. The room was big but a strange layout, the bed was very low to the floor and the bathroom had no door, being open plan to the rest of the room. Thankfully the toilet was enclosed and private though.
When having a shower, due to the bath area being open plan we had to close the curtains completely as the room had floor to ceiling windows looking out to the street and apartments opposite. That also made the room very dark and not easy to navigate as the lighting wasn't brilliant. The room also had a old style key instead of card to open the door, something to be aware of as it took us a good 10 minutes to figure out how to unlock and lock it. Not ideal when you're tired from a long flight.
I can't comment on dining as we didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, seeing as we had to leave early the next morning to catch a train. The bar area looked very nice though and well stocked.
I would stay here again if attending a show nearby, but would choose somewhere more central if visiting for sight seeing or shopping
