Detailed Reviews
This is an excellent hotel for the price being centrally located for pretty much all you could want in this fabulous French city.
The rooms are plenty large enough with excellent shower and toilet facilities.
Wifi is strong & solid and heating is adjustable in each room.
Breakfast is good quality with a choice of cooked or continental.
Staff are helpful and speak good English.
We went for a rugby game as a team of four and none of us had any complaints.
There is an enormous choice of bars, cafes, and restaurants next, door, near by and a short walk away but you might want to find the market place just around the corner where a whole array of top quality food is for sale but also, on the first floor, there is a wide array of boutique cafe/restaurants all selling high quality local produce. Every desire is catered for. The only thin that might disappoint is you may have to queue as it it very popular with the locals which should tell you all you need to know..

We tend to use Novotel whenever we visit France and normally everything is fine. Sadly the Novotel Toulouse Centre Wilson did not meet the usual high standard we have previously experienced.
Firstly, they took a Euro 450 security deposit which i have never seen before normally they just want your CC details in case you leave without paying your bill for extras.
On the first morning (Saturday) there was no hot water so we had to shower in cold water in December !!! when I telephoned the Reception the person spoke poor English but thankfully my schoolboy French got the point across. When I went to Reception on the way out to ask what was happening, the Receptionist said the whole hotel was without hot water. How can a hotel not know there is no hot water ? I had my doubts because I saw nobody else complaining.
The price of breakfast was high for what was on offer. We didn't actually have breakfast and ate outside for much less.
The room was fine and once we had hot water the shower was fine too.
The quality of English for a chain hotel like Novotel was poor in my opinion in the centre of a city.
Overall I cannot give it more that 3 * rating.

Dear client, We thank you for taking the time to leave a feedback after your stay in our hotel. We are sorry to hear that it was not up to your standards this time. We indeed had a problem with the hot water in the whole hotel and we apologize once again for the trouble. Do not worry, it was not only in your room and we had other complains. Thankfully the technician could arrange everything in the morning. We always ask indeed for a deposit for the equivalent of the room and the eventual extras our clients could make. It is not a payment, just a deposit. We prefer to do it in front of our clients for full disclosure. 😊 We sincerely hope that you will enjoy Toulouse once again without any troubles this time. Wishing you a great day ! Best regards, The Novotel Team

We did not actually sleep at this hotel but wanted to leave a review of the outstanding service we received from one of the reception assistants (Beryl). Myself and a friend had been locked out of our vacation apartment and had nowhere to sleep that night; at the end of her shift Beryl took the time to help us, find us an available room in the hotel and even explained that we could be refunded the payment if we were able to get into our apartment later in the night before using the room. We hope that the hotel can be appreciative of the wonderful service received from their staff member and hopefully reward her accordingly! Will definitely think of staying here next time we're in the city thanks to the warm and helpful reception we received.

The location of the hotel is great and the room is fine. But currently I am lying in bed sweating the 2nd night in a row because the air conditioner is not working. I raised this issue 3 times and starting at the first night and it still has not been resolved nor acknowledged. Despite that the rooms of my friends are much cooler i have been told that ac is working and I just have to be patient. Also apperantly the hotel is fully booked the second night in a row and switching to a different room is not possible. Strange thing that online booking showed available rooms yesterday and today.

We had an excellent stay at Novotel Toulouse. It is located within walking distance of several key sites in the city - including the Basilica of Saint Sernin and Jacobin Convent. It is also a five minute walk away from Capitole Square where one can find many restaurants and shops to indulge in. There are more snack/dining and shopping options along the way and down by-lanes, too. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained, with most amenities required for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby, which also housed the breakfast spread/bar and a kids' play area, had a bright and contemporary setup with a bit of a fun jungle theme in places. A lovely hotel to stay at if visiting Toulouse.

You can’t beat the location near to everything and a pleasant feel to the surroundings. Room 104 was near the stairs and lift and looked out into the roof of the reception and breakfast area. This wasn’t the best as it was dirty and had many cigarette ends thrown on it.
The bed was a large king size and very comfy but quite low to the floor. Nice wet room with a good hot shower and toilet.
The main problem was the lack of air conditioning which made the room very warm (26C) even in March. The a/c worked but just wasn’t producing enough cool air. Maintenance called but said the rooms were all like this and suggested opening the locked French doors to get fresh air in. This was done and it solved the problem, apart from the extra noise.
Only paper cups and a kettle for hot drinks which was poor and the fridge didn’t make things very cool at all.
We didn’t eat at the hotel as there were lots of cafes just outside.
Overall a good stay mainly for the location and nice staff.

I had a decent stay at the hotel in general. However, check-out was world class negative. Two receptionist were talking forever to guests and one guest ahead of me could only be checked-out after 20 minutes. The cashier ran twice to the restaurants and four times to the office! Has anyone seen such a scene? The next guest in front of me also talked forever about parking fees and after 30 minutes I had to leave in order to catch my plane.
Avoid this check-out at all costs.

The hotel is nicely located and has a good arrangement with an adjacent brasserie for dinners. It is a modernized Novotel, so everything works. The difficulty is getting there. The hotel is on the President Wilson circle, which is single lane, but has taxi stalls. The hotel does not have a porte cochere or any way to do a non-stressful drop-off if you are coming in your own car. And then there's parking: it is in the public Jean Jaures underground center, which is about two or three blocks away. Take your pick: haul your suitcases down three city blocks, or have a parade of cars behind you impatiently waiting while you try to disembark your family and your luggage. C'mon, you need a way to enable guests to unload conveniently. Or just don't take any luggage with you.

Super convenient as it is in the heart of the city centre, 5mins walk from subway, plenty of shops and restaurants... Rooms a tad small but clean.

What a wonderful experience and start to our 20th Wedding Anniversary trip. We had been upgraded to a Suite & nothing was too much for the staff who made our stay unforgettable.
This Hotel is in a perfect location to explore Toulouse. Plenty of places to eat and you can take advantage of a Hotel guest discount at the Brasserie Le Capoul that serves pretty decent food!
