I had an exceptional stay at the Hôtel des Arts and a huge thank you to Léa and her team. From start to finish, their warm welcome and their little touches, especially for my wife's birthday, made our experience unforgettable. The expert advice on tours and restaurants added a personalized touch, we felt like we were unique. The hotel's central location in Toulouse allowed us to do everything on foot while enjoying a quiet street. The bedding was perfect, the room beautifully decorated, and the homemade breakfast served in the room was delicious. We can't wait to come back.

We usually like local hotels with personality and charm. This hotel fits that bill perfectly. It’s location could not be better for getting around all the interesting sites in Toulouse. Everything needed during a visit is nearby; restaurants, stores, historic sites, metro…
The room we had was charming with an extremely comfortable bed and nice upscale linens. It was very quiet for restful nights. The bathroom facilities were also very practical with a nice , big shower. What made this hotel ( besides the artsy, stylish environment) a true standout for us was the staff. Everyone was incredible lovely, helpful, informative and just joyful . We got great tips from them, great restaurant recommendations and even help with finding us room at another hotel when we decided to stay extra days in this lovely city. They also carried our luggages up the stairs given our 70 plus age. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Toulouse.

We loved this city centre hotel. In a lovely historic area, so central and we were able to walk everywhere ( even to the rugby on Sunday afternoon ). There are interesting shops and cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood, so a great place for a weekend break. Despite the central location, our room on the top floor and at the back of the hotel was very quiet, and had a good sized bathroom. Above all, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. They were able to recommend and book restaurants for us, all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended, and we hope to return on another occasion.

This hotel is on a very sweet cobblestoned street in the historic center of Toulouse, literally 1 minute around the corner from the Saint Georges square where you can get a coffee or a fancy tea at the tea salon and people watch. The staff are so incredibly nice, and were very accommodating of my poor French, as they speak English very well. The room was cute and I could open my window to the street below and a partial view of the church. Clean, soft bed with soft sheets. Great shower with both a rain shower and handheld shower head. Little nook with a design chair and desk to write. Hairdryer and nice smelling shower gel.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but there was something that made my stay a bit less pleasant, and that's that my allergies were terrible in the room. I am allergic to dust/dustmites (which are in every room in varying levels- microscopic in dust particles) and it smelled dusty. I had a stuffed up nose all night and was sneezing quite a bit. I suspect the carpets in that room have not had a deep cleaning/shampooing for a long time. So on the surface they are vacuumed daily, but in the crevices dust has built up for years. Especially with the open brick wall which puts out dust, I think this should be addressed (I informed them at checkout, and they said they'd leave a note about it, and seemed genuinely concerned, which I appreciated.)

Aside from this minor issue (which may not even be an issue for most people if they aren't allergic), this was a very sweet hotel with nice extra touches in a superb location, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

Responded 10 Apr 2023
Dear customer, Thank you for your nice feedback and for your kind words ! We are glad that you appreciated our hotel the fine decoration and especially our high-end bedding and sheets. As far as the carpets are concerned, they are cleaned regularly by a professional company no later like last weeks and every two months. We know that some people have this problem and we do our best by a daily cleaning. But we are not sheltered from some exceptions. It was a pleasure to have you and wished to see you soon to enjoy another hotel des arts experience, Léa, customer service relation.

Another visit to this small hotel in the city center, close to nice restaurants and shops and a few minutes from Place Wilson. Small but comfortable rooms with an Arts theme (we had literature), corridors and staircases decorated like a gallery, numerous books available in our room. Quality sheets, thick towels and quality products. Breakfasts (in room only) of very high quality and freshness (homemade yogurts, fresh squeezed oranges, fresh fruit salads as well as bread and pastries). A special mention for “Johan” the night shift and breakfast manager for his kindness and smile. See you soon

I have walked past this hotel hundreds of times and never managed the time to stay but I did yesterday and I was very happy. The staff are so friendly and make you feel at home, the breakfast was actually good as I was a bit dubious about the price but you get really nice coffee, good pastries and fresh orange juice. The room we stayed is was spacious and cozy, my only negative is that there were no dressing gowns as they were noted in my rate and a coffee machine would be a bonus. Overall a really nice hotel in a fantastic, central location.

First be warned - if you have mobility issues this place may not be for you. There are no lifts and access to the room floors is up some spiral stairs. We are an older couple. Yoann toted our very heavy bags up and down the stairs as required to check in and out. The parking situation can also be strange, but not unusual for French Hotels, as we found out (we didn't reserve in advance and parked in a public lot (Esquirol) a couple of short blocks away). The Hotel is decorated with lots of interesting and fun art work. The bed and room were very comfortable and clean. The staff brings you a very generous continental breakfast every morning (they make their own yogurt!). To a person the young staff was very helpful and cheerful. They all clearly seemed to love their city and love working at the hotel. They are of course willing to help with things like restaurant recommendations and reservations. The Hotel is located a short walk from Place St. Georges, where there are many dining options. All in all, we had a really good time in Toulouse and a great stay at the Hotel Des Arts.

A lovely little hotel for a three-night visit to Toulouse. It is a great location, amidst small shops and windy streets. Breakfast was continental, not cooked, but filling and tasty, with a superior fresh fruit salad and local pastry, including one of the best sourdough baguettes we've had. Our room was clean and the bath was lovely, though with only a hand-held shower, which Americans might not be used to. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 4 nights here in this beautifully decorated art hotel. The staff are welcoming and helpful and highly attentive to the needs of guests without being intrusive . It is spotlessly clean.
The hotel is located in a very convenient and safe area. It is an easy 20 minute walk to the train station.
Breakfast is served in your bedroom at a time of your choosing and it is absolutely delicious. The food is of the highest quality.
The bathroom is rather small but has a wonderful shower.
Thanks to all there for making our visit to Toulouse such a pleasant experience.

We will have a car. Is there parking nearby and how much is it?
Toulouse, France1 contribution
Dear NaMakani, We can propose you one private parking space, for small cars only (15€ per day - subject to availability). The closest public and secured underground parking lot is situated at “Esquirol” less then 3 minutes on foot from the hotel (26€ per day). Best regards, The reception desk.

Hello! 2 possibilities to get to the center of town from the airport : - Get a taxi (around 20/30€) - Get the Airport shuttle, which is 5€. Then it will be less then 10 minutes walking or you can take the metro (there is a metro station, 200m from the hotel!) More info on the Tisseo (transport company) website "Airport shuttle", sorry i can't put HTML link in my comment... Hope we've answered your questions! Best regards, Olivia, The Reception.
