Les Citadines is a small hotel chain that maintains exceptional quality, in my experience. The front desk staff in Toulouse was extremely friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English. My room was attractive and very well appointed. There was a kettle and microwave that I occasionally used to make coffee. But much more often I walked through the charming small garden to the lobby where there was a machine that made all kinds of coffee—including my favorite, lattes—24 hours a day. I did not opt to buy the breakfast plan along with my room, and I was glad because it looked modest and uninteresting. I simply took my latte and a croissant purchased at a local boulangerie into the garden, where I had leisurely breakfasts at a table under a shade tree. I recommend Les Citadines Toulouse highly, though I do not recommend purchasing the breakfast plan.

The "De luxe" studios are large and completely equipped with a modern kitchen space. The one i did stay in has a separate WC in the corridor, very appreciable. The bathroom is small but functional, but a walk-in shower would be more up to date. Breakfast is very complete with continental, french and english style foods (scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausages). Personnel very friendly and efficient. This is a perfect location for longer stays.

Location of hotel is excellent for walking in downtown. Lot of shops and restaurants around and near to Primark. One minute to the bus stop or Metro station. Room service is on daily basis but for stays longer than 6 nights. Room is clean but kind of old. Restaurant is poor and little varieties of food but rooms has a good kitchen. Rest room is separated and away from the bathroom and not even near from it.

From the outset when I attended at reception the male receptionist was dismissive of my ability to be able to park our car in their car park and it was clear that his chauvinistic attitude was because I was female.
The room was substandard. The room was at best 2 star. The toilet seat was marked and looked like it was extremely old and worn. The bathroom itself was also quite old and not clean.
When we did check out the next day we were told by the same male receptionist that they would see us on the camera and would immediately open the garage door to the car park. When we did drive out we not only buzzed them but then also had to telephone them to let us out.
Otherwise the hotel is central to town but that was the only good thing about it. It’s not the only hotel that is central and, in fact, there are others that are right in the heart of Toulouse.
We stayed in a number of other hotels throughout France over a period of 4 weeks and would stay at those hotels again but there is no way we would ever stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone else.

This hotel is rundown and the rooms/facilities do not match the photos. I booked a beautifully decorated room and I was given a very depressing room with not a single picture on the wall, very dark & a tiny window that I couldn't reach to open. When I complained to the desk, they said that the photos don't have to match the actual rooms and I just get a "standard room". They ended up moving me to a superior room when I insisted on having the room I booked, which was better. The bed is very hard and painful to sleep in. The courtyard is also rundown. The cleanliness is questionable.

I wasn't sure what to expect as Toulouse is a big, bustling, crowded city but as it turned out I was pleasantly surprised. Reception (Euan and other staff) were on the ball and very welcoming A good start!
Our room had excellent AirCon..an absolute must I Toulouse which is so hot..day after day..even in September. The room was large, comfortable, fridge included and comfortable bed. Guests had access to fresh towels and bedding from Laundrey Room as needed. It was also a quiet room. The breakfasts were basic and adequate. We did like the large garden area out the back which was a tranquile oasis in the midst of a bustling city. We often sat in the garden where we would drink the free self- serve coffee which is available 24/7
Our only concern was that a large overseas work party were at the hotel during our stay It was a minor concern but each morning they seemed to be everywhere in the breakfast room and we were left with few seats. As it turned out, we went to breakfast at a later time so as to avoid the large crowd So not sure if large work project teams use the Citadines as a base. I will ask next time I'm here Yes, I would return and thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable facilities. Very kind and professional personal.The room is big enough and well equipped. The breakfast is very simple. The location is awesome, right in the middle of the centre. There is a nice lounge to chill. You can get free tea and coffee 24 hours. The room is equipped with a nice kitchen. Everything is clean ! I really recommend this place.

We were on a road trip from Milan to Bilbao and Toulouse was one of our stopovers on the road. The location is very central close to shops and restaurants. The apartment is big and well organized. You have free coffee and hot drinks 24/7.
Only 2 things to improve:
- the hotel doesn’t have a parking nearby so it’s a mess finding a place to stop in front of it to leave the luggage
- the lobby is recently renovated but the room was kind of oldish
