This was ideal launch pad for Gloucester Bentley Drivers on to Pyrenees routes for 8 vintage cars - rooms are modern and breakfast plentiful. For a group, not always easy to find hotels in that area so with 6 rooms only available at Manoir, Stephanie who runs reception with Aline, helpfully reserved 3 more rooms at the Bellevue in the village, also 3 star and recently renovated.
Ariege region probably the poorest part of France, but Jean Cazorla separately runs the Saveurs du Manoir restaurant, attached to the hotel, and he prepared a dinner for us all of Corden Bleu standard - even had a supply of Chateau Talbot Saint-Julien to go with it.
Of importance to us was being able to park all the cars safely within the Manoir grounds.
We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of April, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was warm, welcoming and the rooms were large and comfortable, with lovely views of the garden and surrounding hills.
Town is a good size, with several shops and restaurants, and is ideally placed for exploring the local area, we will hopefully return at some point in the future.

A nice quiet room, clean bathroom, very friendly staff, on-site parking, fantastic location & excellent breakfast - what more can you ask! Central location for all the restaurants. Shame the weather wasn't better. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very modern and clean hotel with nice furnishings. Larger than we expected and is a little impersonal and soulless. We were expecting the hotel to be in a village in the Pyrenees but instead found it to be a large town on a busy main road - very noisy with lorries. No tea/coffee making facilities and breakfast not included. An extra 15 euros each on top of 105 euros per night is slightly excessive. On a positive note, it is a short drive from charming villages and stunning mountain views and walks.

Nice hotel in a beautiful building that according to my understanding was
completely renovated inside out a few years ago. That does sound pretty good, however in my opinion, the only issue is the main road that pass right in front of the hotel. The pictures are a bit misleading, being taken right from the max possible angle. So the first impression in getting there, is not a pleasant surprise but a slight deception.

Inside on the other hand is very nice, very quaint and classy. Room was spacious, with big and comfortable bed, resulting in great sleep. Breakfast was adequate.

Bottom line, this is great hotel, however I personally did not like the location. I feel this hotel belongs in a park away from the main road .

Was looking forward to a trip to the wine area outside of Perpignan but since it was a Sunday everything was closed. So we ended up near Foix and since we like to stay in unique accommodations we spotted this on the internet. Because if its high ratings we drove the 20 minutes south for the overnight. Wish we hadn't. Even though the room was clean and modern, the road was noisy, the room overpriced without breakfast, and in a nothing town...don't waste your time unless you are on your way to Andorra and the Pyrenees and have to stop.

We have now stayed here 4 times. Always spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Safe parking. Just a note, the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so if you want to stay those nights you need to walk in to town...pizza places are open.

We spent one night here while on the road and weren't expecting much as it was quite reasonable. The outside of the Manoir is almost overrestored, so pristine as to be fake looking. The modern rooms completed the total confusion. But in the end, it was a large comfortable room with an excellent bathroom, the people were extremely nice and helpful, and while I found the attached restaurant to be in need of softening up as far as atmosphere ( dim the lights, get some candles!) the food was excellent and the staff was not only efficient but very friendly. I would not hesitate to give it a strong recommendation.

This is a fantastic place! The building is beautiful and has been wonderfully restored.

The decor is modern and expensively done and the bathroom second to none.

The owners are really fantastic hosts and cannot do enough for you.

I could recommend this hotel more highly.

Tarascon is also a really pretty little place on the L'Ariege river. Climb up to the Bell Tower and take in the views of Tarascon and the Pyrenees.
