A very friendly welcome, was followed by our discovery of a spotlessly clean room with comfortable bed with a modern shower room/wc. Unlike some formulaic hotel chains, this hotel oozes individuality and glimpses of a previous life. It's central location means you can park the car and see everything in town on foot. There are many nearby restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. There is also a bar in the foyer where you can coffee, beer etc on demand.

I can truly say that is one of the nicest hotels which I have had the pleasure I stay in for a long time. Without a doubt every member of the staff were friendly, helpful and made our stay so special. I loved the entrance atrium and all the plants. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel rooms each are unique in their decor which obviously too a lot of planning. The hotel is situated very centrally so there is access to many, shops, bars and eateries. I am not sure that I would describe this hotel as quirky but more homely. I would like to thank Hotel de l’Europe for a wonderful stay. I would certainly recommend (we already have) and would love to return.

Just come back from a lovely 3 night stay at Hotel De L’Europe, everything about the hotel was second to none, the rooms the staff & breakfast were all 10 out of 10, will definetly be back to stay again soon, do yourself a favour & get it booked.

We had a wonderful stay at the Europe Hotel. We arrived early but were welcomed in and given immediate access. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. We were given a map of the town with recommended walks and restaurants. We used a nearby underground car park where the hotel has preferential rates. The interior is very attractive and our room was uniquely decorated with scenes of Paris. It was huge with a large king size bed, and extensive seating and storage. There were shutters on the window giving excellent blackout. The bathroom was fabulous with a jacuzzi and large powerful shower. We had an excellent night's sleep. This was one of the best hotels we have ever been in and would recommend it strongly.

My husband and I spent a delightful 2 nights at the Hôtel de l'Europe. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is very colourful and arty. Our room, we called the Amsterdam Room was spacious, very comfortable, with AC if needed. The hotel is only 3 Stars so no fridge in our room, but there was tea & coffee making facilities. Our bathroom had a large bathtub that was easy to step in and out of. Our room was also very quiet. The WIFI was free and was good enough to watch a little Netflix. Neither of us are big breakfast eaters, so we did not take advantage of the breakfast buffet. The hotel also has a lovely little bar to. The location is perfect, right in the centre of town with cafes and bakeries all around.
