Pension very original in the center of Castres.
We were very well received, the staff is charming, being sensitive to noises I asked for a quiet room and I was delighted with this room where no outside noise came. The room was very large, very clean with a superb shower room. The decoration is very original. The bedding was excellent with a large bed 180 wide. Breakfast is excellent, hearty and varied!
If we return to Castres, I would definitely choose this Pension.

In the heart of the old town of CASTRES, a very pleasant hotel (4 houses combined) served by elevator, possibility of dinner in the evening, full bar. Very beautiful 18th century houses, with a certain charm, which offers elegant and comfortable rooms with antique furniture and very well equipped, small patio which gives off a relaxing atmosphere, exposed beams and stone walls, charming hotel is very pleasant. Smiling, enthusiastic, attentive welcome, always available and ready to help, all in a relaxed atmosphere that puts you at ease. Spacious room, clean, comfortable, excellent bedding, extra cushions, well-equipped room (kettle, coffee, tea, fridge); full buffet breakfast, of excellent quality with fresh and varied products; In short, a very charming hotel, well located, very pleasant, quiet and relaxing, where we had an excellent stay, I highly recommend.

Small. Boutique hotel right in the enter of CASTRES. we had room 212 which has an enormous recently renovated bathroom with great overhead shower a spa bath and heated towel rail and heated floor. We visited in winter.
Our room was spacious overlooking a rather ordinary wall . Cleaning was excellent and reception very very friendly and helpful. English was spoken and the fresh orange juice at breakfast is great. We were made to feel like family and this was our second stay.
You could not do better than this hotel in Castres and not expensive.

Atypical hotel with lots of charm, welcoming staff and decent breakfast but very disappointed for several reasons: the night was short due to nighttime noise in an adjacent street, not only from the hotel next door but also from residents very drunk who kept yelling and hitting each other. On the other hand, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, and it's a shame considering the prices charged. No chance...

A very friendly welcome, was followed by our discovery of a spotlessly clean room with comfortable bed with a modern shower room/wc. Unlike some formulaic hotel chains, this hotel oozes individuality and glimpses of a previous life. It's central location means you can park the car and see everything in town on foot. There are many nearby restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. There is also a bar in the foyer where you can coffee, beer etc on demand.

I stayed with my wife and three children (2, 6 and 9) in August/September 2022. The hotel is fantastically placed in centre of Castres and there are great all night car parking options nearby if needed. This hotel is so lovely. It's clean and comfortable, but also great fun. It's a bit quirky and the children loved exploring it. The breakfast was great and would definitely recommend it. Most of all though, the staff were fantastic and genuinely happy to have children around and making friends with them. Very highly recommended.

This hotel is right in the heart of the town, in a historic building, convenient for amenities, restaurants and bars. The staff make this hotel worth a visit, as they are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, although the sunken bath was a little low for my old bones. The breakfast was extra, but very good. The hotel also has a cosy bar.

I can truly say that is one of the nicest hotels which I have had the pleasure I stay in for a long time. Without a doubt every member of the staff were friendly, helpful and made our stay so special. I loved the entrance atrium and all the plants. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel rooms each are unique in their decor which obviously too a lot of planning. The hotel is situated very centrally so there is access to many, shops, bars and eateries. I am not sure that I would describe this hotel as quirky but more homely. I would like to thank Hotel de l’Europe for a wonderful stay. I would certainly recommend (we already have) and would love to return.

Hi, sorry just noticed this so hope not too late. The hotel has a deal with a local car park, about 5 min walk (Q-Park Castres République, Place Alsace Lorraine). You do need to move the car every day though to get the best deal.
Hope this helps
