Disappointed that they would not be flexible when my plans had to change due to COVID. I'd have hoped even if they were not interested in a refund then flexibility in changing dates etc but not interested. I visit Collioure regularly but will not be staying here in future
We enquired about a table and were seated and left with one menu for 15 minutes. Waiter came to take our order and announced we couldn’t have the set menu but had to go a la carte. So we started to look and he asked if we wanted water so we said yes tap water is fine. He refused saying they didn’t do it. In France it is a legal requirement for them to do so. We felt tjhet were only interested in extorting the maximum cash from us As rudely as possible. We left and had a great meal just down the road. Eat there if you will and I can’t comment on The food but they treat people as mugs
We really enjoyed our diner at this restaurant. The food was delicious and had great quality. Also the server (Allan) was verry friendly! He explained the menu in perfect English! We highly recommend this restaurant to visitors of the beautifull city Collioure.
We stayed for 1 night in the hotel and ate at the restaurant downstairs. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, the room was cozy, the food at the restaurant fresh and tasty. The breakfast buffet with local specialities was great, too. The hotel is located in the very center of Collioure, next to the castle and port, so you are close to everything. Highly recommended.
We stayed here for two nights in December. The hotel has a great position in the centre of town and but make sure you have somewhere to park the car, especially in summer (we had no problem in December). Our room was on the 5th floor. The elevator is tiny - an intimate ride for two, or 1 person only with baggage. The room was a good size, air conditioned but no sea view. There are good wardrobes with plenty of space for a long stay. There is an espresso machine in the room but if you brought tea bags to make a cuppa you have to be dedicated! The bed is quite comfortable but the pillows are poor; foam filled and too firm. The bathroom is OK. The shower is just powerful enough, and the decor is in reasonable condition. Both rooms were clean. There is a small public room on the first floor with a bar and comfy chairs next to the upstairs room of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We did not have breakfast but ate in the restaurant for dinner (separate review). Overall, a great place to stay in Collioure. The hotel let’s itself down with the terrible pillows but still manages 4 stars!…
