I have stayed at this hotel previously while flat searching and both occasions have more than exceeded my expectations. The reception/managing staff, Mme Miriam and M.Liert, are experts in making the impossible easy and the difficult to disappear. Chapeaux! The comment by the Brazilian person who clearly needs more protein to make her brain recognise that 2pm is check in time, and not before, should be entirely discounted as the mindless meanderings of an over privileged brat! Mal educadeza!

I got at the Hotel this morning because I'd like to leave my backpack in the hostel before the check in. Wasn't possible because the guy how is in the reception today is very rude and kept saying to me that the check in was at 2pm. Ok, I left and I came back at 1pm because in the website says that the check in can be made any time after 1pm. A noce girl opend the door for me and them she told me again about the check in at 2pm. Ok The rude guy was there again and I asked him if I could let my backpack um the hotel, he was rude again and told me that he was very busy and I was disturbing him. This is the guy who works at reception. A bad impression, a terrible staff...

Perfectly acceptable, clean, budget hotel centrally located on the edge of the bastide and midway between the railway station and the citadel. Not much of an outlook but the bedrooms are clean and functional. There is a simple and clean breakfast area with cereals, bread, croissants, meats, cheeses, coffee, tea, fruit juices, fruit, preserves etc. and also a lounge area with sofas and television. Couple of good, inexpensive restaurants close by and only 10 minutes walk to the railway station and main shopping street and less than 20 minutes walk to the citadel. Perfectly adequate cheap accommodation that I'd use again if in town, overseen by a friendly manager.

This hotel is exactly half way between the train station and the medieval town and really close to the bus stop for the airport transfer. The room was a decent size and clean and the couple who ran the hotel were wonderful. They encouraged us to practise our French and we got by although I sure they must have had a laugh at my attempts. No lift but my suitcase was carried upstairs for me.
