Detailed Reviews
I would have given a 3.5 if I could because this time around, things did not go smoothly. We stayed here in March and loved it so much that we came back to stay here again. Although the location is the same and the room is just as lovely, there are a number of problems that popped up that we didn’t expect from a
luxury hotel that charges over €1500 per night:
1.The steam in the shower did not work. It was fixed the same day after we told them.
2. The bidet did not work. After 2 days, and a second inquiry from us, they told us that they couldn’t fix it and left us a bottle of Champagne in the room.
3. On the third day, housekeeping did not put out any hand towels.
4. The breakfast is at best average. In fact, we had better breakfast at other hotels and restaurants in Paris. My husband complained that they did not know how to make French styled omelette.
I wrote in my last review that their gluten free breakfast pastry was very poor and they replied that they will try to do better next time. It is certainly not better this time around. I gave up asking for gluten free pastry at breakfast and they probably gave up trying to serve them to me because I did not see any after the first or second day. I brought pastries from other cafes and bakeries to breakfast.
I would not pay to have breakfast at their restaurant. You could get much better breakfast just about anywhere else in the city at much more reasonable prices.
They do try to rectify and fix what they can after any complaints. The staff is superb. Everyone we have encountered has never been anything other than professional, courteous and helpful.
I would suggest that at such an exclusive establishment, as part of their room readiness to receive new clients, someone should go through and make sure every appliance in the room works. The client is paying for a fully functioning room where all the amenities work.

+1
It was our first time staying at a Cheval Blanc property and we were not disappointed. After a slight delay and hiccup at checkin, everything else was smooth sailing and it quickly became our favorite hotel in the world.
Ulrika and her team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My husband is gluten intolerant and they made a note so that no matter where we ate in the hotel (room service or the restaurants), they already knew about his gluten intolerance.
They even had two cakes waiting for us in the room upon our arrival (one with gluten and one without), as well as a bottle of champagne. There were also complimentary cookies that were the best cookies that I had ever had.
The restaurants on site and the in room dining were incomparable to anything else we had ever experienced. Plentitudes restaurant (their new restaurant by the same chef who has 3 Michelin stars at their other property in St. Tropez) was exceptional and Langoustine offered delicious Italian and fish options.
Victor and Marie, from in room dining, were extremely kind and gracious and provided everything we needed.
The pastry selections at breakfast were not only beautiful, but delectable.
It is a nice touch that they do not charge you for any non-alcoholic items in the mini bar. It feels cheap when a 5 star hotel nickel and dimes you over bottles of water.
We also loved the selection of toiletries and complimentary Dior spa products.
One of the things that stood out the most is that our first night they had a bubble bath waiting for us when we returned from dinner.
The hotel is in a unique location across from Saint Germain and on the edge of the 1st and not far from Le Marais. This meant there were lots of great food and shopping options nearby, as well as plenty of museums and sites.
We loved how bright and airy the hotel was, and the floor to ceiling windows in our suite.
There was a tiny bit of street noise, but it did not detract from our experience.
We adore this hotel and cannot wait to stay with them again.

The Cheval Blanc Paris, set by the Seine, in the heart of Paris promises the best, and delivers nothing but the best. The junior suite that we stayed in was spectacular. Extremely spacious, beautifully designed, and very luxurious. While we loved every part of our suite, our very favorite was the bathroom. Complete with a deep soaking tub, walk in shower that turned into a haman with a touch of a button, and all the amenities you could possibly think of. The bath amenities are designed in collaboration with the Nose of Dior, François Demanchy and are heavenly. The quality of the bed is phenomenal and there was a pillow menu should you require something more specific. Everything in the room can be controlled by a bedside tablet which made things really easy to navigate.
The Dior Spa is the crown jewel of the Maison, the swimming pool is the most gorgeous in all of Paris. At 30 meters, the swimming pool is the longest hotel pool in all of Paris. The panels alongside the pool broadcast animations of the Seine while you glide through the crystal clear waters. The poolside loungers are very comfortable and have privacy curtains that wrap around you. Adjacent to the pool are some spa facilities, a sauna, hamman and Ice Bath that were rarely visited since everyone had their own hamman inside of their rooms.
Breakfast at Le Tout is a feast, everything we had was delicious. The croissants and pain au chocolats were to die for. The view from the restaurant, overlooking the Seine all the way to the Eiffel Tower was magnificent. We also had afternoon tea at Limbar, we enjoyed the experience and the sweets and loved that everything was so creatively displayed and presented. The tea menu was impressive with a wide variety of exotic tea options.
Service throughout the hotel is mostly friendly, professional and elegant. We did encounter some minor service hiccups but I am sure that these shortfalls are only due to a very recent opening and should be refined and polished with time. A special thank you to the concierge team for tirelessly assisting us when we encountered some issues with our covid test results, if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have been able to board our flights home. The Cheval Blanc Paris is truly an experience in itself, and definitely a highlight of our Paris trip.

We did a quick baby moon trip to Paris and this hotel was great! I really loved the modern Parisian flair compared to other hotels such as Ritz and the Plaza. One thing that was worth the extra money was doing roundtrip transportation to and from the airport. Once we got off the plane we had an assistant waiting for us that took us through an expedited security lane for customs and then we were chauffeured in a nice Mercedes with a great driver. The concierge was able to get us last minute dinner reservations for our stay including Loulou. The bathroom was like a spa itself....amazing toiletries including Dior products....steam shower and my favorite a soaking tub. Turndown service was always excellent. We were able to use the house car which is a BMW 7 series multiple times without hardly any wait which was great as well. I really cannot think of anything bad about our stay there...make sure to check out the indoor pool as well!

Cheval Blanc is the quintessential 5 Star Experience, from the location, the hotel, the restaurants, and most importantly the staff. From the minute we arrived we received the upmost professional and warm reception, and were also greeted by the General Manager, Christophe Haidy. Cheval Blanc is the only hotel in Paris directly on the Seine River and views to the left of Notre Dame and to the right of the Eiffel Tower. We stayed in a Seine Junior Suite and it was amazing. The use of the space, the enclosed glass patio overlooking the Seine, the bathroom and toiletries were top of the line. The Concierge Staff is superb and assisted us with many requests including dining arrangements. On this trip we didn’t have the chance to enjoy Plenitude but we will the next time we come to Paris. Langosteria has beautiful indoor seating and outdoor seating with beautiful views and the food was fantastic. Le Tout-Paris is like it says “so Parisian” and has a broad menu offering that certainly met all expectations, and it also has a beautiful view. Not to be missed is a plunge in their magnificent pool which we understand to be the largest indoor pool in Europe. The mirrored ceiling and the evolving graphics on the walls truly elevate your experience. In closing, every staff member we came in contact with was truly best of class. We can’t wait to return to Cheval Blanc.

The only bad part of our stay was that we stayed only two days. We didn't want to leave. I have never slept this good, the bed is magical. I need to find the place to buy the pillows for my home because it was just perfect. Everyone was lovely, the wonderful team of Cheval Blanc made my husband to fell in love with Paris. I can't wait to come back! BTW there is Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom, that is very important detail for people traveling from US who can't bring their hair tools. Do yourself a favor and book a room at the Cheval Blanc!

The whole experience from the room and it’s amenities to the service was top notch! We spent 9 nights and will be sorry to leave the “comforts of home”. There will always be a few glitches but 95% excellent. The pool and spa, almost always available car service and best room service breakfast ever are just a few of the items we took advantage of to make our stay in Paris all the better. It helped to have beautiful, sunny weather too. Use the ear plugs at night- quite noisy location. Anything along the Seine is noisy. Yes, it’s expensive. You get what you pay for at Cheval Blanc.

Actually went 3/22 but just realized never reviewed. Solid staff, in all areas, housekeeping was meticulous, they even restored my daughters beat up boots to a state which we thought would be impossible. Clean, large room, ours was on the corner and we did have a view of the river. Every night they left a small sample of a Dior product from their spa. Lovely touch.
They have cars that will take you where you need (including a complimentary pick up and drop off at the airport), as long as they are available, we only had to wait 10 minutes once, otherwise no issues, and all drivers extremely professional. Pool was a nice respite after full days of touring around. Breakfast which was included was great. We only had a chance to actually enjoy it once during our stay, but other mornings the staff provided little to go bags with pastries for the teens.
Bar upstairs was great and so were the bartenders. Restaurant was not very impressive, not bad but I wish there was another option at the hotel for more varied options in the evening.
All in all a great stay.

Having been to Paris numerous times, I have stayed at many 5 star hotels including the Shangri-la, Plaza Athenee, Penninsula among others. The cheval blanc’s impeccable service and focus on the customer blows any of these hotels out of the water. There is NO comparison. Specially if you are traveling with kids and are fitness oriented. Their kids club is amazing- my seven year old daughter wanted to go everyday. She fed fish and jelly fish, she made art, they organized a treasure hunt… Every night they left her cake in her room and drew us a warm bath. In the morning we had breakfast in the balcony of our Siene suite. Their gym is amazing - so are the spa facilities. This hotel is french luxury with a level of customer service that you don’t see often in the world. I will never stay anywhere else when in Paris.

Just completed three wonderful nights at this extraordinary hotel, which is probably the finest hotel experience we’ve ever had.
From the moment you arrive at this hotel (in the chauffeur driven BMW that they pick you up at the airport after meeting you at the gate) , they pamper you with every amenity imaginable. Our room (with a view of the Seine) was off the charts. The extras and amenities they put in the room make you feel as though you are in your own home. The products in the massive bathroom are beyond anything we’ve ever been furnished.
The bar at Longosteria on the 7th floor may be the best bar we ever experienced. The staff, ambience, music, view of the Eiffel Tower, and service cannot be exceeded. Angelo, the head bartender is a creative genius and an extraordinary person. We’d go back just for the bar if we could.
The breakfast (included) is as good as any anywhere in the world.
Reception, concierge and spa personnel are all top notch.
The special touches left for us at bed time left a lasting impression.
I could go on for pages. This hotel is perfect and we cannot wait to return. I truly don’t think that there is a finer hotel anywhere in the world. Bravo.
