Avoid unless you're desperate!it's seedy, dirty, grubby and the springs and noise of the bed will keep you awake.Dont get me started on the carpet you deffo wouldn't walk barefoot on it.i couldn't wait for my taxi to arrive in the early hours to take me the airport couldn't get out the place fast enough. there was also lots of shouting and a lady outside the room was so drunk her friends Couldn't move her I didn't feel safe with all of the arguing next to the door that was flimsy to start with but I Couldn't report it as staff leave by 11pm and you're left to fend for yourself! On my return from holiday I stayed at the hikton garden Hotel for the same price and it was beautiful. The only positive is that the lady at hotel reception was nice that's it.....
Room had a horrible musky smell. Carpet disgusting, room generally run down. We could not move as hotel full. Stayed in lots of budget hotels over the years, this was one of the worse. Only positive was despite being full, there was little noise.
Strange how the price for the same room is £62 cheaper today How can they justify such a price increase? Room was dirty, bed uncomfortable, - We didn't stay in room left early hours of this morning. DO NOT BOOK INTO THIS HOTEL
Dawn on reception is an absolute star, went out of her way to help with anything I needed and a larger than character. A credit to the hotel and a big thanks from me. Had a good sleep and breakfast was good, dawn even fetched me another coffee to my table.
After checking into the rooms I was hit with a smell of stale BO, upon further inspection of the room it was found to be in a terrible state with stains all over the mattress with unknown substances, floor was in poor state of repair. Felt unsafe leaving work van parked at the property. We checked out straight away and moved to a well known chain nearby for a small amount extra.
The hotel is well located in terms of transport, as well as friendly and helpful hotel staff. Good location to the nearest shop (ASDA). The room has a shower, bathtub, hairdryer, electric kettle (with tea and coffee) and a TV set. Clean bed. I recommend.
Vile, I checked in and out in 5 minutes flat. What a dirty vile place. The pillows are so dirty the mattress and protector are vile. The whole room needed scraping up and putting in a skip. Do not stay here unless you’re homeless with absolutely no alternative. There’s budget and no frills , this is just dirty filthy and disgusting.
A colleague and I were booked in by our company to stay whilst on business in Doncaster, it was clear immediately that the place had multiple unsavoury characters in there! Drug dealers dropped off there throughout the night and entire place felt unsecured to leave valuables. The rooms were putrid with vile carpets that stuck to your feet! Filth and dirt and stains over every inch of the rooms and upon lifting the bed sheet I was horrified to see a mattress that looked like people had literally sh@t and P!ssed all over it! Felt sick that I'd slept in it. I would never ever stay there again!
Great one night stay . Place value money . Room clean and bed very comfortable , staff friendly , good location to the nearest shops. Also bar open till late. Definitely worth to recommend and come back ..
Hotel was well situated, however the company hired to look after the car park trying claiming I had parked illegally, despite following all protocols for the car park and leaving my registration at reception. The hotel needs to address the company they use to control the car park, the fine was false, the number on fine unobtainable, but still receiving letters demanding payment weeks after. After threat of court action from myself, the company say they will drop the £100 charge as a matter of goodwill. Not acceptable
