Very enjoyable stay for my birthday. The complimentary room upgrade was much appreciated.room very spacious and comfortable. Never slept in a bed so big before. Will definitely return here in the future.
Been to many “Afternoon Teas” This was not by any means one of the best Sandwiches ok but not to say , they were really nice Scones, would have been better if warm as I would expected them to be, not very light and very mean with jam and cream, although on request dud give more Cakes not appetising, I am great cake eater, and none lived up to expectations Not at all worth price paid One exception was lovely room and lovely outlook
Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. The spa was beautiful and loved the Roman theme. The food, dinner, breakfast and an afternoon tea were all lovely and the dining area was cosy. The grounds were perfect for a stroll and for a longer walk the footpath from the car park led us through the woods. Beautiful setting and a comfortable relaxing stay.
Customer service was excellent, had a great welcome from the lady on reception. The hotel was nicely decorated and felt cosy, I will say my room was very warm. Couldn’t work out why it was so warm as the radiator wasn’t on, my room was nicely decorated and they had read my comments on booking and kindly listened to my request and put us in a room near a lift due to mobility. The pools and jacuzzi were lovely with seats all around. The breakfast was really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful, I would come back again.
Stayed here on business and for the second time in the last year. Setting is great and overall it’s a good place to stay. Rooms are a good standard and food is excellent. Spa is also good if you have the time to use it. Small things let it down; holes in towels for example.
Basically the Utopia Spa,makes the difference in this hotel and the cosyness and attention paid to the furnishing gives it character. Unfortunately the food was not great, it often came warm and on one day cold!
Had a wonderful spa break here. The hotel is lovely, staff are friendly & nothing is too much trouble for them. We contacted them twice prior to our stay, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Spa facilities are excellent and our treatments were bliss!
Staff are very friendly and kind, unsure with some of the spa masseuse as not sure their confident with what their doing and also the rooms were missing doors on the shower so water goes everywhere, the bath plug didn’t work and nor did the room service. No air-con temperature controlled rooms and was very hot and had to have the windows open.
We enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend couples break which included dinner, bed, breakfast and treatments. This is my 3rd time visiting Rowhill Grange as we find it such a perfect quick getaway spot for weekend breaks away from the hustle and bustle of London life (but still only 40 mins drive from the capital.) When we arrived we were presented with a beautiful little cake in our room as we were celebrating a special occasion which was a lovely touch. The dinner was delicious - I recommend the burger, or steaks (with delicious peppercorn sauce) or the fish and chips. The chorizo starter is also delicious, as are all the desserts! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here - they are always so attentive and will bend over backwards to ensure everyone has a comfortable stay. Our room (Chrysanthemum) was large and well appointed with dual aspect views. This room is in the older part of the building with high ceilings and beautiful coving and chandeliers, well worth the upgrade cost for the original features. The shower was a little temperamental but we figured out how to get it to optimum temperature eventually. Unfortunately the towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work but it wasn’t a big problem as we just dried our swimming costumes and warmed our bathrobes on the radiator in the room instead. We opted for breakfast in our room and staff brought it piping hot and at the specified time. The portions are generous enough that you can come back and pick at the pastries/fruit salad for most of the morning if you’re anything like us! Thoroughly recommend booking a facial or massage treatment. We’ve left feeling rejuvenated (and probably a few pounds heavier in weight) but well worth it. Recommend: * checking for special offers with treatments included * hot oil massage * double check your bill upon checkout - sometimes the dinner isn’t always automatically deducted.…
Terrible experience, made to feel very uncomfortable. Challenged about not having payment voucher. Pressed to provide proof or pay again! Ended up in tears & couldn't wait to leave. Ruined Anniversary
