Stayed again, absolutely superb, love the room and love the bath. It’s a hidden gem. Has to be seen to be believed. It’s like a Moroccan palace. The only is very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back again.
Fantastic and beautifully restored house. The rooms have four poster beds and some have roll top baths. Easy access to the hotel initially by pin code and then access cards once in your room. There are numerous lounges and sitting rooms with beautiful decor including a suit of armour etc. It was warm overnight and thankfully there was a fan in the wardrobe. Would definitely stay again and next time request cotton sheets over satin/silk. Beautiful accommodation!!
Everything about this place is great. Wonderfully appointed from top to bottom. The staff couldn't do enough to help when my wife locked us out of our room and we were made to feel at home. Will definitely return and have no problem recommending to anyone.
Excellent place to stay, quit, clean beautifully maintained, good location. Owner is a nice an friendly person. He has a cute dog named Foxy. If I visit again in Miadstone I'll stay in Stone court House.
The moment we opened the door it was like stepping back in time , the place was beautiful and our room was stunning and very comfortable the owners were delightful and we had everything we needed and the whole hotel was spotless!! Definitely stay again !!
Amazing house and very welcoming hosts. It was a great pity that I stayed on business, I would have loved more time to explore the surrounding area and the history of the house. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates beautiful buildings and of course friendly and accommodating hosts. Would love to stay again.
The room was lovely, clean and well presented. The four poster bed sold it for me. The bathroom was lovely with its marble interior. The atmosphere was welcoming and the house was beautiful and authentic to its original time frame. The hospitality was great and welcoming! Would most definitely stay again.
Such a beautiful and historic building to have the pleasure of staying at. The staff were very friendly and our room was immaculate with so many lovely features. The owners have made this place a lovely little gem and also with little touches in your room to give the added feel of luxury. The only preference from us would be stable tv/film channels as had a slight issue with the log ins during our stay that I’m sure would be better next time… Freeview would be a good addition. I loved the china tea cups and saucers idea to enjoy my cup of tea and the classical music as you walked throughout the house was perfect.
The property is easy to find and although there is no parking, the public car park is yards from Stone Court Hiuse. Once inside, it is a luxurious oasis. Much care and attention to detail has made this historic building a wonderful experience to visit. I wish I had been able to stay longer.
We really struck lucky with this amazing hotel in the centre of Maidstone. We considered the usual chain hotels but as we were going to a golden wedding party in the restaurant next door to Stone Court House we decided that for ease and convenience to opt for an overnight here. What a great decision! From the moment we opened the massive street door we were struck by the beauty of the renovation. Photos really do not do it justice. It is simply stunning. The owners, Saban and Belinda have done a magnificent job of renovation, keeping historic features but adding tasteful aspects of luxury. They were very kind and helpful hosts. We had booked the apartment suite to allow a room for my elderly mother. The apartment was massive. The sitting room had two huge comfortable chesterfields and other well appointed furniture that unbelievably still left loads of space to easily walk around. Our bedroom was large and had a 4 poster bed that wouldn’t have been out of place in a mediaeval castle. The main bathroom was large and luxurious with a marble floor and a roll top bath in the centre of the room. The second bedroom had a 6ft bed and en-suite with shower. The soft furnishings in every room were beautiful and tasteful as was the decor in each room. The attention to detail with colour and fabrics was just lovely. The apartment was incredibly quiet and absolutely spotless. The only slight area of concern I had was that there was on on site parking but I needn’t have worried. Saban had explained that parking was available just across the road. It was about a 3 minute walk away and my 87 year old mother had no problem walking from there to Stone Court House. The car park had cctv and my car was absolutely fine. I had prepaid on line. We will definitely return to Stone Court House. …
